• Filler: “The Shadow King and Kaoru”

Kyoya entered the third music room, eager to see the profits of last weeks “win-a-date” game the Host Club played. A gentle smile was plastered on his face, it seemed the only thing he was interested in was his work, but he knew better when he saw one lone twin sitting at the grand piano.
“Kaoru.” The window was open, giving Kyoya’s raven colored hair a little ruffle as he stepped to the lone twin.
“Kyoya…?” Kaoru averted his attention; he had been looking out the window, but turned to gaze at the Shadow King before him. “What is it?” Kyoya placed a hand upon the twin’s shoulder, rubbing it comfortingly.
“Where is Hikaru?” Kyoya seemed to have more pity in his eyes than sympathy.
“He’s out with Ayame.” Kaoru nearly began crying when he said her name, but he knew better.
“Oh? Well, everyone has gone home. Would you like me to give you a ride home?” Kyoya smiled a genuine smile, pushing his index finger against the nose of his glasses to keep them from falling off his face.
“I don’t think so, that’s okay. I can wa—“Kaoru was cut off by Kyoya who insisted that he give Kaoru a ride, but Kaoru merely shook his head.
“Well, suit yourself then.” Kyoya lifted his clip board he set upon the Grand Piano, and made his way out the door.
Kaoru sighed, knowing that he should have taken the ride from Kyoya since he had no other method of transportation to his house. It took him only a moment to process this before he ran out the door.
“Kyoya, wa—“Kaoru nearly shouted, but was stopped abruptly by Kyoya. He seemed to have been expecting Kaoru would take him up on his offer.
“Shall we?” Kyoya pointed down the hallway, letting Kaoru take lead ahead of him.
“What am I getting myself into…?” Kyoya mumbled to himself, but started down the hallway.
