• Prolouge for Chapter 3

I find that everyday I spend getting new souls, is another day I need them more. Why does this happen? Perhaps it is my way of living eternaly.

    Chapter 3

The way I feel is always ignored. This is possible probably because I am a homicidal child who wants to turn people into evil little (or big) dollies that do what I command. That one is always a possiblility. Now was probably the only time I'd ever thought about it. Only because I was now sitting in front of a large police station on a bench, I was thinking about it. I tried to pull the sadest and most frightened look on my face, but, for once I wasn't satisfied with how it felt to act like an actress. Not that the adrenilene wasn't inside of me, biting and ripping, it was that it just didn't feel good anymore.
" What am I thinking, I can do this, there's nothing wrong with lying to soon to be dead people," I quietly mumbled to myself. This gave me new strength and the courage to pull an unhappy face together. I made a walk that was limping and slopping over everywhere to make it look like I'd been running for just some time to get to this place. As I walked like this inside the police station, people stared at me. It was like the entire world was ensnared in a rosebush. Not just any rosebush, a thorny rosebush, that belonged to me. I pretended to sob again. My sobs were heard and answered by a man with a uniform. He looked down on me.
" What is the matter child?" He asked. Why did people call me such rude names like child? Why can't they ask what a name is, then use the name given?
" You know that killer person, who killed those women by that ally? I s-s-sa-saw him and he was killing someone. It was another lady who looked like she'd seen a ghost," I exaggerated so he'd belive me. I hoped this would work. Pretending to sniffle a little, I outstreched my arms and the man shook his head. His nametag read: Officer Chareles Wilson. So he was an officer who would help me. His head shook again, then he opened his eyes and ran back into a hallway very quickly.
When he returned, he had many officers with him, all with the same uniform. The officers stared at me. In this dirty, ugly condition, I probably looked like a bum.
" Wilson," A tall man with spiky, blonde, short hair spoke to him," How can you trust a child who obviously is lying with this case?"
" She said she witnessed someone being murdered, and it was a man who murdered her, Cheif."
" Then have her take us to the scene of the crime!" The "Cheif" shouted loudly. I nodded and took off to the door. All of the officers followed easily, for, my legs were shorter and slower than theirs. After I ran out and down the steps to the station. I could feel my legs protesting after walking nonstop last night. I couldn't lose my ability to run though. So, I just kept running and they walked behind me with their guns and other tools. I realised something.
I only needed one new soul. This hosted a problem. I'd have to get one of those officers alone and out of sight and hearing range so I could kill the officer. What a terrible problem.

We arrived at the ally and I'd found the body lying in a pile of dust. I pointed to the location of the body and began to fake sob. My stomach didn't want me to pretend anymore, just like my legs. I could only lie now. That's the only thing that would hold this together.
" Officer Wilson?" I said softly, pulling on his belt and arm," I need to talk to you, really far away and alone. I know something."
" Uh, alright sweetheart, where is it?" He asked. I grabbed his hand and pulled him along with me. On the way to the gate that led out of this city, I explained exactly who I was and who Tammy was in my lies. He bought this easily and fell for my "cute" act. When we were far enough from the city I told him to bend down and I'd tell him something in return. He obeyed and I put my lips next to his ear.
" I am the serial killer," I whispered. Then, with one swift chop with a knife I'd picked up in the shop I'd used to bathe myself in, his head was on the ground at my feet. After watching his body go into a series of spasms, I walked away, my back twords him, and the city. I walked away giggling, letting the soul from him be absorbed into my body and bag.
