    Chapter 2

I sat there on the edge of the pier, my legs dangling over the edge. The sun was just beginning to rise, shades of red, yellow, orange, and purple coloring the sea and bouncing of my flowing white dress. Many of the voices had died down and the only sounds were of the waves crashing against the shore. A nice breeze had taken place, signaling the era of a new day. It was very peaceful, until the thoughts of what might have happened at the fight crept up on me.

What if they're not okay! Why aren't they here yet! It had been three hours since I last saw them. Have they gotten injured! What will I do if they are! I scowled. Please, please let them be safe, ple-

"Hey! You didn't have to take us seriously!" I heard behind me. "Miss, are you alright?" another called. "Hey, girl. Are you mental? Why didn't you go home?" another voice called to me. I stood up, I turned around, and gasped as I saw the hottest boys in the history of the world! These were the people protecting me? I was unsure of what to say. "T-thank y-you," I stuttered. They all looked at me expectantly. I felt a warm sensation on my cheeks. What is this on my cheeks? Oh, I'm blushing... I knew I was, it just didn't happen very often.

"Hey, you should talk louder! We just saved you didn't we? Hey, your kinda cute. My name is Michael nice to meet ya." the one on the left said, inching closer and closer to me, and flashing a cocky, Bad Boy grin that made him even more adorable. His messy red hair fell over his clear green eyes as the wind blew over us. Then, he took my shoulders and said, "Hey, guys, this is now my girl. And if you make a move on her, I swear I'll kick your a**!" This comment just made me blush deeper.

"Michael, don't be so rude," said the boy on the right. "My apologies, madam." Another morning breeze then swept over us, making his shoulder- length, blond hair blowing over his nice olive- colored face. "My name is Gabriel," he said, taking my hand. "Nice to meet such a beautiful lady this morning," he added, bended down on one knee, and kissed my hand. He looked at me while he kissed my hand, his blue- green eyes peering at me from behind his long eyelashes like I could jump into them and there would be no end to it. When he kissed my hand, I blushed even more. When he let go he backed away a little bit, grinning, obviously proud of himself to have made me blush... a lot. "Oh, yes, Michael! Let the poor girl go!" he yelled and pulled Michael away from my side.

"Hey!" said the boy next to Gabriel. "Hurry up! We gotta go! She must be really cold right now!" Then, he took off his black, leather jacket and put it around my shoulders, his nice, lean arms going around me, resting his elbows on my shoulders and leaning in close. His black hair hanging over his amber- colored eyes framed by thin wire glasses. I blushed even deeper, my breathing becoming uneven. Then, he suddenly pulled away. "Good, you don't have a fever. Let's get going. Oh yeah, my name is Jason," he said as he turned away.

We started walking, when all of a sudden, Michael said, "By the way, what's your name?" "My name?" I asked. Gabriel and Jason turned around, probably curious at the topic of my personal matters. "My name is..." I started, thinking. What was my name? Then, I said the first name that came to mind, "My name is Marella."
