• 'I was just coming back from my travels; i went America for a while to relive my stress...
I enjoyed it there, i went to Florida, Texas, New York and other places, but, deep down, i missed my friends and my heart wanted to go back to my home to Cannock, so i decided to come back a week earlier...

However, when i came back to home, my heart and soul was never the same again....'

    3 MONTHS AGO: Cannock - Outside Lee's house- 15/08/12

A 3 month younger and healthy looking Lee was flying and dashing through the sky and clouds, wearing his brand new leather jacket he just got from Texas and carrying a rucksack full of presents for his friends waiting at home.
The area near his house was full of different coloured flowers, trees and wild life; one of Lee's favourite things was to watch the sunset as the fading orange glow covers the flowers.
As he saw the house near the farmland, he descended at least 2 metres from the house; the house was like 2 small flats, but it was modified to look like a normal house.
As Lee walked towards his front door, he put his hand in his jacket pocket and took out a custom made house key (most of Lee's items were custom made) and inserted and twisted it into the lock.
Once Lee was inside the house, he looked around the living room to see nothing had been moved around since he left, the grandfather clock at the far corner of the room and was still ticking. The fireplace was still burning ('Someone must have added some wood to this whilst i was gone', Lee thought to himself) The gold frame, which Laurel would pick up 3 months later, was on the the small oak table.

As Lee walked upstairs, he noticed that the house was quieter than usual; sometimes Nick will be in his room, creating explosions and loud noises with Aaron and Sam. There was a small hallway with three different rooms, One of them had a note attached to the door.
Lee walked towards the note with the door and began to read in his mind:

"Since you've been travelling around the world, i have decided to go on my own journey; See you in 3 months...
    Nicksta
PS: Aaron has gone to Japan for a while, he won't be back for another 4 months..."

Lee laughed, 'So that explains why theres been no explosions...'

He walked into his own room; the walls were painted black, but some of the walls had posters of some of his favourite bands. The sheleves, which were made out of durable wood, were full of DVD's, CD's, A couple of photo frames (including one with him and his favourite band) and a piggy bank, with a note attached to it; "There is roughly £17 pounds, but inside it is a small bomb....So if you wanna take it, its your funeral..."
Lee laughed again; he never really booby-trapped it, it was just to scare off Sam and Nick (or anyone stupid enough to take it) as a laugh.
He looked at black frame which was hanging on the wall; inside it was a faded, battle-worn black hooded jacket, which was singed on the right-hand sleeve. On the bottom, there was a an gold emblem where words have been embedded. Lee read the words to himself.

"Always Protect your Honour and, whatever happens, Never leave the ones you care for behind..."

Lee had forgotton these words long ago, but now he was proud to have served Birmingham. He walked outside his room, passed another room and headed towards the door with the frame 'Sam's Room'.
Lee looked at the silver hinges of the door; Several times, the others had to break down (and later end up fixing) the door (sometimes just to get a can of cola from Sam's personal fridge) so many times that Sam had decided to leave the door open a little.
    Lee opened to the door....

    'What i saw....agh....on that day.....'

He looked to see Laurel and Sam in bed, kissing each other as if they were in love, they didn't noticed that Lee had walked in.
Something dark sparked within Lee's soul; his life meant nothing to him now he had seen the woman he once loved making out with one of his best friends.
Finally, after seeing enough, he lifted his bag of presents and threw hard at the two lovers. They both screamed with fright and got out of bed, and looked around to see Lee drinking his cola.
'i've left your presents on the bed, i'll be outside if you need me', Lee said, walking out of Sams room, not letting Sam or Laurel look at his eyes.
'Whoa, i thought for a minute there he was going to kill us', Sam said and went back to bed.
Laurel, however, just stood there on the spot...

    Cannock - Lee's house - Midnight

Lee was sitting down on a wooden bench, crying his eyes out, letting all the darkness inside him wash away in the form of tears.
He heard light footsteps, but he didn't look until someone put a hand on his shoulder. He looked to see Laurel, wearing a gothic black robe and jeans, was sitting beside him. Judging from the light red lines down her face, she had been just crying as well.
    'Lee...' Laurel spoke softly
'Don't even.... you have no idea... Lee spoke darkly, but then Laurel started to cry a little.
'I thought you weren't coming back home...', Laurel cried. 'I was lonely and i need someone, then S-Sam saw me crying one day and comforted me, and i fell in love with him... I-i didn't mean for th-this to happen...'
Lee looked at her, but he didn't feel angry or dark anymore, and he couldn't blame either of them; the darkness inside him was slowly disappearing.
'I should have this would have happened sooner or later....But seeing you two..', Lee couldn't finish his sentence. He looked to see two fresh stream of tears ran down Laurel's face; Lee just looked at her; he didn't mean to make the person he loved cry
'Shhh....Laurel....Please Don't Cry,' Lee said sadly, wiping her tears off her face and touched her dark hair, which shone in the moonlight. They looked each other in the eyes, allowing their love to burn brightly and then kissed each other.

They seperated, looking at each other passionately. Just has they were about to kiss again, Lee was suddenly forced off Laurel's tender, sweet lips and thrown into a solid break wall, cracking one of his ribs.
Sam came out of nowhere and started to throw Lee around like a pillow.
'If you think you can just come back into Laurel's life and take her away from me, you've got another thing coming!' Sam bellowed, he looked at one of the trees and raised his hands. He pointed his right hand and uprooted a tree with his mind.
He didn't wait for Lee to get up, he hurled the tree at him, knocking Lee back a few feet and breaking the wall, scattering broken bricks everywhere.
Suddenly, Sam dashed towards Lee and tackled him.
'Come on, you're suppoosed to be tougher than this!' Mocked Sam, punching Lee in the stomach twice and threw him into another wall.
'Sam, thats enough!' Laurel shouted, Sam looked at her defiantly
'No Laurel, he's been asking this for a long time!' Sam shouted back, looking at her, 'He don't deserve you!'
Just then, all of Lee's rage burst forth uncontrollably; Lee's eyes went black with dark energy, coursing through him like poison. But Laurel nor Sam didn't sensed him.
Sam was still shouting, 'Laurel, i will die for you, we're supposed to be engaged - Ughh!!!'
Sam was blasted by an energy attack, knocking him back further, Laurel saw Lee in the distance, dashing towards Sam with pure rage and hatred.
'OH YEAH!!! COME ON!' Sam shouted and ran towards Lee; they were within a couple of inches of each other and then they disappeared.
Laurel kept track of them by watching the shockwaves, which were making the ground shake as if it was alive. After several shockwaves of pure rage and power, Lee came out unscathed, whilst Sam was covered in blood and had broken his left arm.
'Dark Flare!' Lee shouted, and a dark energy wave burst out of Lee's hands and hit Sam in the chest. Sam was breathing fast, but he couldn't move or defend himself. As Lee was about to land the final blow, Laurel stepped in, crying her eyes out.
'Lee, please don't hurt him anymore!' Laurel pleaded.
'Give me one good reason why i shouldn't snap his back in half!' Lee demanded, his voice full of anger.
'Because.....Because I love him!!!' Laurel cried out, and she hugged Sam and started to cradle him in her arms. Lee's eyes, heart and soul were suddenly overcomed with sadness. Lee sat by Laurel and a knocked out Sam.
'We're in engaged whilst you were away, he even bought me a ring,' and Laurel showed Lee the gold enagagment ring on her finger.
'I'm so sorry Laurel....' Lee said sadly. he put his hand on Sam's chest; a stream of energy was entering Sam's body. Lee had revived him, but he was asleep.
'Its best that i leave you and everyone, i'm no longer the person i was once', Lee spoke.
'Don't go Lee...' Laurel spoke, but Lee kissed Laurel on the lips one last time and then ran away.
Laurel watched Lee go in the distance and then went back to cradling Sam...

"And that is why i left everything behind, because i became the one thing i was against; i hurt my friends and the woman i loved..."

    Birmingham Park - 9:00pm

Garnet was looking at Lee amazingly as he ended his story. She couldn't believe that she was looking at the same person who flew around Birmingham with not a care in the wordd, the same person who had saved her life.
'So...Do you still love me, after you have just heard what i could have done to Sam or to Laurel?' Asked Lee, looking at Garnet for her reply. But Garnet didn't speak to Lee for a while.
'Its okay if you don't ever wanna speak to from me. I walked away from everything i ever cared for and i should be punished by not allowing anyone to care for me...' said Lee, curling up like a ball with his head against the oak tree, turning his gaze from Garnets green eyes to the blacken ground. A single tear went down his face and splashed onto the earth.
Garnet watched as Lee cried; she was wondering if she should love him or not, But, without thinking about, Garnet hugged him.
'Shhh....Lee....Please Don't Cry', Garnet whispered. After a few minutes of peaceful silence, Garnet had realised that Lee had fallen asleep. She smiled and looked at Lee one last time before closing her hers. Before she was about to fall asleep, she whispered quietly...

    'I love you'...

    End of Part three...
