• Tired, bleak, and a heart filled with unease the guardian rested her head on the sill of a car window. She was weary from long days of travel and needed to sleep but she couldn’t stand the way this place looked. ‘ugh, Bloody Stupid Mankind.’ she thought, as she saw passing by buildings of concrete and roads that never seemed to end while watching overweight men and women throw their filthy garbage out the window and into the street. She cursed a swift length of words under her breath but then her eyes drifted upward and a ghost of a smile fell upon her lips. Ah, the sky and its innocent beauty if there was something to appreciate it was how no matter what went on below the sky stayed the way it was supposed to, clear blue like a river from the ocean with clouds so soft you could lay your head upon them. Or a dark blackness that was inviting and mysterious except for the stars that shone brightly to make a wondering eye stare up forever it seemed like. Even when it opens and rains down with fury as light and sound come together it still holds beauty beyond compare. Right now as a single tear fell down from intriguing green eyes, she kept them looking upward towards a glorious sunset that transformed everything to a soft pink like a blush on a pale cheek or a light mixture of orange and yellow in sherbert ice cream, it was just… breathtaking. Yes, that’s the word for it, how it could make a lone wolf cry out with passion and longing. Oh why, god why? Did the humans treat such beauty with cruelty, stripping away the land for the needs of greedy business workers. Of course that just made her love the open air even more, for earth walkers can’t touch it! Can’t shape it! Or hurt it! With a sigh consumed by tension alone she fell into a troubled sleep, she must find the girl by dawn the next day.
