• The Caravan moved swiftly and quietly through the night on the road as the camels moaned and groaned. Most of the caravan was sleeping when they came. Their horses were faster and quicker than the camels we used to transport good around this desert world. They came without warning and descimated everything in their path their arrows pierceing the night sky taking out the guards as everyone slept in their wagons and coaches not knowing everyone outside was dead from the arrows. Then the torches were lit and then we awoke in the night after it was too late. They moved coach to coach and wagon to wagon taking everyone and tieing them together with rope, everyone was scared it was obivious from their facial expressions and a few of the women and children cried after seeing some of their dead relatives. I guess this is the world we live in, nothing but a cold brutal world with nothing more than money on anyone's mind. Then the lights came to are wagon but this time they didn't tie me or my mother up but instead they brought a man with a crossbow and took my mother and threw me from the wagon. I was forced to the end of are Caravan then kicked down onto the sand and left there.
I was left alone in the desert, left to die and left to never be remembered by anyone. I staggered to try and stand from my kneeling position after being kicked in the stomach. I watched as the lights moved off into the distance and grew darker and darker until they went up and over and dissepeared into the night horizon. "NO!" I screemed even though nothing made a difference any more I'm a goner was the only thought racing threw my head as I tried to cope with the fact I was left alone in the cold desert at night after my father's caravan was attacked and me of all people I was left alone to die. All I wanted to do was cry but crying was of little use now that nothing will save me. I can only hope for the best as i cover my body with sand and fall asleep with only my head sticking out of the sand so I'm able to breathe.
