• *Kaminoke… She isn’t like any other girl I know. She has bright white clothing, bright as snow. A dress is what she first wore.*

“Mother! I’m out to play in the woods, like usual.”
    “Be back before supper, dear.”
“I will.” Kokoro smiles as he closed the wooden door behind him. Kokoro lived close enough to the woods; his mother really didn’t mind him playing alone.
A loud barking noise could be heard off in the distant as Kokoro started to peek into the woods.
“Shhh… Inu; get back to the house!”
The dog barked a few more times; ignoring Kokoro’s command. Finally, after a pat on the back, Inu trotted along a pathway back to the house.
“Crazy dog…” Kokoro muttered to himself as he picked up a stick, carved as a sword, and walked deeper into the forest.
Kokoro slashed his wooden sword at trees till he began to sweat a lot. For a while, Kokoro jabbed his sword into the ground and propped himself against a tree to rest a bit.
“Since summer started, I’ve been able to increase my stamina by just practicing to be a warrior someday…” Kokoro paused, looking up to the sky to see a shining dot, fly faster and faster towards his position.
In fear, Kokoro quickly got up to his feet, and bolted away from the tree he was resting at.
In a matter of seconds, the shining object crashed into the ground. Leaving a huge crater; upon the ground.
A small hand shook out of the crater hole as it was searching for an edge to grab hold and pull itself up to.
Kokoro froze as he watched a hand pop out of the crater hole. He shook for a while, not sure to believe what he saw a human drop out of the sky, and actually live to tell the tale.

*At this point on, I was in a world of trouble and adventure. I didn’t really give much thought about it all, at the time. She looked so innocent…*

“Uhh... Hello,” Kokoro muttered out, stumbling his way back to the location of where the human had landed.
A face peeked out. The structure of the face was flawless. Long silver hair, sky blue eyes. The person pulled them self out of the crater.
As Kokoro expected, it was a female.
“How...How did you,” Kokoro sputtered out.
    “Survive?”
    Kokoro gulped and simply nodded.
    “I don’t really remember…”
“Well… Do you have a name at least?”
“The name is Kaminoke, yours?” Kaminoke smiles and shot out her hand out for Kokoro to shake.
“The name is Kokoro, but you may call me Koko, as my entire friends do.”

*I lied, I didn’t really have any friends.*

Kokoro launched his hand out, and shook Kaminoke’s hand furiously. Not sure whether to be scared of her, or treat her with the utmost care. She had just fallen out of the sky, what would you have done?
Kokoro looked down upon Kaminoke’s shoulders and realized, from such a great fall; she had not a scratch.
    “How are you not injured?”
“That’s simple, I’m a-“ Kaminoke paused and thought telling Kokoro might not be a good idea in the end. “-Better yet, it’s best I not say…”
Kokoro shrugged and finally realized, even though he did not fall, he had a minor wound.
Kokoro stared at where he felt the pain and muttered out, “Musta’ been from the debris that scattered as you made your entry.”
Kaminoke looked blankly. “I’m sorry,” she said, frowning upon what she did to her new found friend.
“Hey, I’m going to head home to patch this up. If you’d like to tag along that is fine…”
Kokoro placed his free arm over the deep gash, and headed towards his home. Soon enough he heard barking from his arrival.
“Good to see you too boy,” Kokoro exclaimed as he smiled down at this dog.
The dog barked happily and walked along side Kokoro.
Kokoro paused a moment and took note, Kaminoke stopped following. “Don’t be scared,” he said, looking back, only to find Kaminoke peeking out from a tree.
“You sure that creature won’t attack me?”
    “Yes.”
Kaminoke started to walk closer to Kokoro, staying by his side.

*I didn’t realize it at first, but soon after it felt as though I’m the one to protect her.*

The bunch finally made it to Kokoro’s house.
“Wait out here boy…” Kokoro leaned down and gave his dog a pat on the back.
The dog barked three times, happily. Then trotted back away.
    “You commin’ in?”
Kaminoke spaced out, and looked a little lost before responding, “Uhh… yes.”
Kokoro first opened the front door. A heavy smell of cooked veggies and other foods were strong. Both Kaminoke and Kokoro’s stomachs grumbled.
“I’ll go apply the band aid; you may eat my half of my share.”
    “Okay.”

*For a while, it never dawned upon me. Where were my folks?*

Kokoro left down a hallway, and opened up a door. He pulled out a white box with a red cross on it. He took out a bandage roll.
Once Kokoro was finished with the bandage. A firm hand grip held Kokoro still.
“You never told us you had a friend,” the voice called out. Gripping tighter on Kokoro’s shoulder.
“S…sorry,” Kokoro sputtered out, not realizing that what he had done, was such a bad idea.
“For this, you’re gonna die!” The voice boomed, crushing Kokoro’s shoulder while spinning him around to see him; face to face.
    It was Kokoro’s father.

*I knew it was him right as I heard the voice. It just wasn’t the most “positive” idea. His voice sounded as though it echoed. When I was forced to look into his eyes, they shined red. His eye color was green from the get-go.*

Kokoro was helpless. His only good arm was now being crushed to a pulp, while the other bandaged up. Kokoro attempted to kick his father, down south, but had no effect. His father just tightened his grip, and lifted Kokoro off the ground.
This isn’t good, Kokoro thought. He didn’t know what to do. He panicked.
    “Kaminoke!”
Kaminoke stopped eating, and had a handgrip her by the shoulder.
“So you’re the infamous, Kaminoke that I was informed about.”
Kaminoke’s eyes turned white. An aura of pure white started to emit itself off her. Kaminoke’s dress started to dance as though wind was blowing right onto her.
“Why yes ma’am, I am. And now that I’m on Earth, your kind will no longer exist.”
The lady’s voice laughed at Kaminoke’s remark.
    “You and what army?”
    “I need no army!”
Kaminoke brought her hands behind her back. Both started to shine brighter than the sun. Than she thrusted them forward; a beam of light shot out and incinerated the lady.
Kokoro, still being held up by his father’s grip, started to tear up.
    “What’s gotten into … you?”
“Your…friend… is trying to kill us, Kokoro. Do you want to die!?”
Kokoro choked. He spat out some blood and replied, “She is nicer than you!”
“If that’s how it’s gonna be the-“ Kokoro’s father was cut short, as a bright hand shot out of his chest.
“So it’s begun…” Kokoro’s father fell to the ground, lying in a pool of blood.
Kokoro fell to the ground. Gasping for air, he said, “What…are you?”
The bright white aura stopped flowing around Kaminoke as she replied, “I’m … an angel.”
Kaminoke tilted her head as she seen the bandage turn to a deeper red color.
“Let me fix that for you,” Kaminoke said, taking off the bandage. She placed her hands above the wound, and closed her eyes. A bright light shot out and the deep wound began to seal up right before their very eyes.
