• Once we got outside I grabbed her, “Look I thought I could take that you didn’t say I love you back, but I don’t know if I can.” She looked at me and opened her mouth…

He’d grabbed my arm and told me he didn’t know if he could stay with me if I didn’t tell him I loved him. I opened my mouth, “ I’m not going to lie. I don’t love you, yet. I take it slow, I don’t like rushing things. If you cant deal with that then I’m leaving.” He didn’t move and I just shook my head and turned around. I hoped he would walk after me, I reached two blocks away and he hadn’t followed. I turned around and he wasn’t behind me. I kept walking home. It had started to rain. I remembered when I first met him, things had started to go fast the second we met. I laughed when I remembered how I woke up and he was still there. I reached home and I was so undeceive if I love him. I trudge through the door and Emma stopped me, “Um you might want to go change.”
I grunted and kept walking up the stairs about half way I stopped and yelled to Emma, “Are you living here with me now?” I waited for a response. I didn’t get one, instead Emma walked up the stairs to me. She was about three stairs away from me, “Hm, yeah that sounds better then living by myself.” Emma’s parents had divorced when she was about six, her dad was an alcoholic and her mom was a heavy chain smoker. She stayed with her mom but she moved out early. She had enough money to survive on her own. She dropped contact with her parents. I nodded and walked into my room. I changed into some clothes and slid onto my floor. I let my thoughts flow, I thought hard about the I love you thing. I fell asleep an hour later. In my dream I was standing in front of Damon and he was smiling at me. He hugged me and I hugged back, he whispered in my ear, “Jayne I love you.” I just stood there. He pulled me arms length away and I shook my head. He slowly stopped smiling, he then started to disinigrate. I yelled, “NO! PLEASE STAY!” he was being pulled back from me and I ran and I could never catch up with him. I fell crying. I woke up to the smell of Emma’s famous waffles. I felt my cheeks they were damp with tears. I stood up and walked to my full length mirror. I wiped my eyes and went to the shower. I changed and went to my room and blow-dried my hair. I went to my mirror and put on light make up and looked at myself. I sighed and walked down stairs. Not even half way down I heard music. I heard Emma singing. I walked down and sang along with the song. Emma heard me and we sang the same, “I’m Walkin On Sunshine, WHOAAA!” we laughed and I sat down and she handed me a plate with a mound of waffles. Well at least five on it. I started to put back all but one back but she smacked my hand with a spatula, “You don’t eat enough.” She always says that to me and follows with the king, prince, and common man thing. She finished with, “Remember For breakfast eat like a king, for lunch eat like a prince and for dinner eat like a poor man.”
“I know I know.” I ate three waffles and then got up. I rinsed my plate and started to tell Emma, “I think I’m going to go to France.”
I heard a cup cling and I knew the nagging would start, “WHAT?! Why? I’m coming, you are so so ugh I don’t even know. In fact you’re not going.”
I turned around in a huff how dare she tell me what to do, “Shut up.” She shut up and looked at me, “First because I want to, second I want to meet my “brother” or what ever, and no you’re not coming. And I can go and I will go. You’re going to stay here and watch the house and do you’re studies or whatever. Got it?”
“Makes sense, fine what ever.” She bent and picked up the cup and I walked to my room and grabbed a backpack. I packed two weeks worth of clothes and I went to my desk and pulled out my learn French in a week C.D. I had gone through a phase last year were everything I wanted to do had to do with France and French things. So I re-freshed my French and a week later my plane tickets arrived in the mail. I grabbed my bag and Emma drove me to the airport. She hugged me and I walked onto the plane. I sat down in the middle isle, a man sat next to me. An hour later he was asleep. He was snoring, drooling, and even hitting me in his sleep. I was sitting there completely crowded when a man about my age tapped my shoulder, “Um hello. I saw you uncomfortable, the lady next to me said she would switch with you… If you would like.” I nodded and stood up. The lady was about my age too. She took my spot silently. I sat down and said, “Thank you.” I fell asleep a few minutes later. I heard the ding of the bell and I woke up…
