• In the dark and dusky halls of South Cruzer High school, a lone janitor stalks to and fro, picking up gum wrappers, half eaten candy bars, and scrubbing spray paint off the walls. All school year long he has had to stay late every night, cleaning up after all the kids in the school. The worst kids were the ones that were in the Up Town Doggs gang, only 3 or 4 actually attend school, but that’s enough to make a mess of the place. Those kids making his life harder every night, but he will have his revenge, one way or another.
The next day, the four kids were called into the principal’s office, when they came in the principal was there talking to the janitor. After she was done talking to the janitor, she turned to the kids and stated, “Well you four have been up to no good, haven’t you?”,The kids looked at each other, and then back at the principal, one of them said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about”, “Don’t give me that!”, she exclaimed, “The janitor just told me that he saw you four, vandalizing the walls and lockers, stealing from the school, getting in fights, dealing drugs, I was just discussing to Mr. Janitor about what your punishment should be, and we agreed that you four will be staying after school to help Mr. Janitor clean up YOUR messes, for the next month”, “WHAT!!” they all yelled, ”THAT’S NOT FAIR!!”, “ You brought it upon yourself” she calmly stated, “you’ll regret this” , one of them said under his breath as they left the room.
That day, after school they showed up for their first day cleaning the school, the janitor was already there, waiting for them. When they were all there, the janitor divided them up into different parts of the school, saying that “he didn’t want them messing things up more than they already have”. So he sent them off on their own separate ways, with a mop and a broom, carefully remembering which way each of them went, then he left, to gather some materials.
The first boy, Anthony, was cleaning the main building, which had 2 floors in it, he was taking his time, just dragging the mop behind him, he was on the second floor, when he started to hear strange noises, clicking in the walls, tapping on the ceiling, bumps just around the next corner, the school was very creepy at night, you never know what’s around the next corner, nothing, he knew. When it happened he didn’t even know it until right before he was dead, it was dark in the halls, and a hook was dropped in front of him, and when he walked up to it, it shot upwards, through his jaw and into his mouth, and he was dragged up through a hole in the roof, where he was finished off with a knife through his heart, and that was the end of Anthony. One down and three to go.
The second boy, Tony, was a lazy kid, always slacking off, barely passing with D’s, If he had the option NOT to do something, he would take it in a heartbeat. Which is one of the reasons he is about to die. Completely ditching his mop and broom, he was just lollie gagging down the hall, searching for a place, to take a load off. After awhile of wandering aimlessly down the hall, he finally found his resting place, a supply closet. Once he got inside, he set up a couple towels, and laid down to get some sleep. After about 10 minutes, he started hearing real strange sounds out in the hall, he stood up and faced towards the door. From down behind him, silently the janitor dropped behind him, slipping out a butchers knife, hacked straight through his throat, spraying blood all of the closet, and him. Taking the head, he threw it up in through a hole in the ceiling, and then he climbed up, dragging the body in after him. Half of his problems were now taken care of.
In the kitchen is where you will usually find, Arthur, and that’s exactly where you will find him tonight, raiding the kitchen for anything he could find, cookies, chips, anything. He was half inside the fridge, with piles of food in his arms. As he stepped back and closed the fridge door, a turkey carving fork was rammed into his stomach, and he was pushed back against the counter top. Letting out pain filled yell, he reached for the fork, only to find, a knife slammed through his hand and pinning it to the cutting board beside him. The janitor stepped back, and pulled out a carving knife from his belt. Quickly slicing it up through the boys chin, up to his eyes. The boy immediately slumped to the side, falling to the ground. Dragging the body through the kitchen, the janitor had a slight smile on his face, “to easy” he thought to himself.
Austin, our next victim, was a very curious boy, the only one actually cleaning anything, walking back and forth down the halls picking up bits of trash. Being curious had its ups and downs, he could easily figure out anything he wanted, this was not one of those good times however, this time, it would get him into a lot of trouble. Walking down the hall, Austin picks up little bits of trash, most of which one of his friends had thrown there. When he came upon a door that was slightly ajar, being the curious type, he peeked his head inside to take a look. Nothing, just an empty room, but what was that? There it was again, a dripping sound, stepping inside the door, he looked around the room, and there it was again, straight ahead. He stood there confused, walking forward a little bit he felt something fall on his head, he reached his hand up and brought it back down, there was crimson red blood on his hand. Stepping back and looking up, he could see a red stain on the ceiling where it was dripping from, and a little pool on the floor. Grabbing a chair he places it next to the little pool of blood, getting up on the chair, he pushes up on the roof where the blood is, it gave way, there was a square opening in the ceiling about 4x4, reaching up he pulled himself up, he looked around and saw the mangled bodies of his friends, that’s all he saw before a pair of hands found their way around his throat, pulling him into the ceiling and snapping his neck.
The next day, the Janitor told the principal that the kids never showed up, he believed him of course. None of the kids in the school asked any questions about them, some were just glad they were finally gone. No one ever knew where they went, but for some reason, the cafeteria food was chunkier for a couple weeks after they disappeared.
    THE END
