• A fox floats around the Twilight Realm, in a jail, gliding past soldiers' spirits. Listening to their moans and screams, pleas and cries made her spooked out. A twang of sadness went through her as she watched a knight cry for help, and plea that his family be safe.
Her tails sort of propel her through the winding, twisted darkness. Another scream echoes through her ears. For this spirit, twilight is the worst time. But it's the only time she's let free, her chains thrown away. A splatter sound makes her wince as the residual hauntings continue.
"Thou must ignore the screaming. Thou must continue on thy quest. Where thy finds the Triforce, thy shall be finally set free." This, along with the screams and pleas, splatters and slicings, echoes through her mind.
This fox's name is Kitsune, and around her neck hangs a black cord, and hanging from it is a gold Triforce symbol. A princess by the name of Zelda gave this to her when she was wandering out around the castle one night.
Kitsune comes across a small, nearly dry puddle of water. Since spirits don't need food or water, she ignored it and continued floating around. Her paws touched the cold stones, damp from water that was dripping from the ceiling.
Something taps her shoulder, and makes her yelp. Whisking around, she discovers that it's Midna. She laughs, the sound echoing through the hollow building.
"You are just too much fun!" she smiles, and laughs again as she walks off, just as ringing as the last, but tainted more with evil.
Kitsune shudders, and jumps into the small river that flows through the entire jail. She often floats down it to come back to her supposed home, which is nothing more than a vacant cell, with wood and metal makeshift furniture.
She scrambles up into the cluttered space, just as a spirit puts a chain on her neck, which binds her to this place till twilight comes again.
