• I peered over her shoulder at the part she was reading . There on the table in her glass coffin sat Aurora eye's closed as the prince stared at her in shock. Lola turned the page and the prince was kissing Aurora, moms absolute favorite part for sure, she never doubted for one second that father wasn't here prince, but when she died so did that part of father and now he is no better than the witch herself. I felt a small tear well up in the corner of my eye. I turned around and quickly whipped it away before Lola saw. "Come on we need to go, Lilly will probably be waiting for us at the bridge we need to get there before father does", I said grabbing the book from Lola and putting it into her back pack. She nodded without saying a word we walked hand in hand towards the bridge. Several cars passed by, a lot of people stared at me noticing the blood on my shirt but not caring enough to stop to see if we were okay, the world had become more and more cruel over the years. "Lyla do you really think Lilly's there waiting for us, what if father had got her this time"? Lola asked tears welling up in her eyes. I grabbed her shoulders and knelt down giving her a few good shakes. "Lilly will be there she was strong enough to fight father when she left and she was my age, she made it I know she did"! I yelled in Lola's face as she began to cry. "I'm sorry", I said wrapping her in a hug. Lola tried her best to wiggle out of it but failed. For the next half an hour we sat there on the side of the road hugging each other. I stood up stiffly and stretched as Lola did the same. "Okay, I think we have kept Lilly waiting long enough", I said grabbing Lola's hand again this time we did a light jog and was at the bridge in less than 20 minutes. I looked around and around but there was no sight of Lilly. Lola looked like she was going to cry again. "Maybe she's on the other side of the bridge. I said grabbing her hand as we sprinted to the other side. No sight of her, I looked around and around until dusk came. "Come on we need to find a place to sleep tonight", I said picking up Lola and slinging her over my back to piggy back her. I walked slowly under the bridge and soon regretted going under. There in a puddle of blood sat what was left of Lilly's body and in her mouth was a note and on top of the note it read. "I'm watching you, Lyla". I panicked and started hyperventilating. Lola had to shake me and hit me a few good times to get my attention. "Look"! She screamed pointing to a video camera. "Oh s**t Lola run"! I screamed as I saw a pair of headlights on the bridge come to a screeching halt.
