• The Mark was in the exact place as hers, right above the neck, but shaped differently like a double crossed star with sharp edges like daggers. He was beautiful, cheekbones to die for like hers and long midnight black hair all the way to his shoulders. His eyes were gray, they were moving like mist. I didn't want to see no more, so I ran out, left the coffee there, and ran as fast as I could, so fast that human eyes couldn't see me. I didn't know where to go, I was confused and frightened, so I ran to the closest place, the Wayless Woods. After i was in the forest I stopped running and walked, I heard the quiet chirping of birds and slithering of snakes.

*Crunch* *SNAP* A leaf crunched and a twig snapped, one thing she had found out already, he wasn't a very good stalker, he was four feet behind her, she could hear his steady breathing.

"You don't want to mess with me, I can promise you that," I whispered furiously, I knew he could hear me, so why yell?? He smiled a gorgeous smile, which he didn't allow his fangs to show, and whispered, "Don't worry I'm just like you, but you may know that already by the mark I bare."

"I come from the same place as you, Elisa. I'm the same people as you, and I can do all the same things," the way he said this made it sound like her was better than me. "But I may be better because I drink from the source.", It sounded like he could very much read my mind, he felt telepathically stronger than me. "Humans. Drinking from the life source makes you stronger." He smiled again. That one word sent a pang of electricity through her, in the days she has been near to many humans hearing there blood pound in their veins, and she had been tempted to drink from humans but could never bring herself to do it. But if she did that in public that would expose her true form, vampire.

His smile sent shivers down her back. "How do you know my name??"

"Oh Elisa I know all about you, from you living in an house to drinking blood bags stolen from the nearby hospital."

Elisa blushed, for some odd reason she really wanted to impress this boy. "But wait, how could you know all about me when I don't know a fact about you. Or should I assume the worst? That you are a evil vampire here to drink my blood??." She sits on the huge rock that she sits on and when she has nowhere else to think, while he stood very still like a statue, with a thoughtful expression on his face.

His eyes turned dark and menacing, he looked even more beautiful times.

"I am Andrew Lavigne, Andy for short if you may call me that, please. I am from the world, Helvan, that is the name of your missed world, but has always been home to me. I stopped aging at the age of nineteen, in our world you can pick what age you want to stop aging at, then when you want to age more you can start the aging again. My parents are dead, a vampire hunter killed my smaller brother, and I was sent here to find you." While talking his face was filled with sorrow, and he finished me a bemused smile on his face, smiling yet again at her.

"Why were you sent here to find me, what could I have that you would want, from a loner like me??" The wind was blowing and making her hair fly around her, Andy's hair was only lifting a little.

"The wind it makes the leaves blow around us and awakes the dead for they miss the fresh breeze of the Earth's aroma," he had his eyes closed and was concentrating hard on something.

"You're very special, Elisa, you are one of the reincarnating angels. You, my girl, are a very rare vampire, only a couple are left in these two worlds, and you my dear are one of them. Now I really don't feel like standing here and just talking throughout the night, can we go to your house and talk all this out??" a smile played around the corner of his lips.

"Um...sure just follow me," she muttered, to herself but loud enough for him to hear.

After they were out of the forest, they started walking a few inches distance away from each other, and after a couple of long never ending minutes, they arrived at her house. Elisa invited him in with a smile forced on her face, after they both walked in she closed the door and locked it, throwing the key on the counter with a flick of her wrist. "Well this is where I live, home sweet home, if you didn't know that already."

"Oh please, I knew where you lived," he murmured while he sat down and I sat at the far corner, at the corner of her eye she saw him moving closer, so she moved farther away. They stayed like that in silence for a while until he touched her hair and she slapped his wrist away.

"C'mon, I'm not going to bite, only when i get mad," this time when he smiled his fangs showed clearly, they were as sharp as daggers, just like the Mark he bore. "I'm here to protect you from unwanted vampires seeking for you're blood."

"But why would they want me? Just because I'm a rare vampire, so what?", the smile vanished from his face and she felt Andy get tense all over, he sat straight and looked at the front door without really looking at it.

"They want your blood, that's the only way they can really stay alive, all they have to do it drain every last drop of blood from your body," he said this with his teeth clenched like it hurt just to explain it. " Then bingo....so every time the person gets injures they would heal automatically, but if its deep it could take a few minutes or even a couple of hours. Also if killed the vampire will turn to ash and no matter how far you scatter the ashes, they always come back....always." he finished with a crooked smile, but his eyes were far away like he was telling a tale he was seen many times.

"That can all happen with a vampire just getting a drink of my blood??"

"No they have to drain the blood from your body," he laughed maybe she was making a face she didn't realize she was making. " That's the truth so I've been sent here to protect you."

"I've never tasted human blood before, what's it like??", her face clearly looked thoughtful.

"You can try mine," her face twisted with horror, he laughed, "It fine, it may not be as exhilarating as human blood, but it's close." Andy extended a pocket knife form his side pocket of his jeans and brought it to his neck and had it already hard enough against his skin that a small drop of blood came out.

Elisa stopped him, " Wait, I can't do this I haven't drank from a human before, so how can i do it to you??"

Andy didn't respond just cut his neck, and a spasm of pain crossed his face. The blood hit her and fell into a trance to drain the blood from Andy's body, but she couldn't do that, she couldn't deceive him, he was her friend. "Go on drink, I'll pull you away when you've had enough." She hesitantly crouched in to get a taste, Elisa licked, and a sensation like fireworks exploded into her mouth, Andy shivered with delight. Elisa bit and sucked the share of blood Andy was giving her. While the blood poured into her mouth, she remembered herself getting stronger and feeling much more alive then she had ever felt, more than when she drank the blood bags.

    *Andy Point Of View*

Before long Andy tried to pull her away, but with her body filling with his blood, she's getting stronger and him weaker. Andy was feeling faint, he could feel her radiation of power coming from her like a like glowing all over her.

    "Elisa....stop drinking."

The last thing he saw was Elisa lift her head, and her lips covered in his blood, and heard her gasp.

    *Elisa Point Of View*

The power surging within her was something indescribable, she could hear better and see better, and one thing she heard that frightened her was Andy's heart getting fainter and fainter.

"Elisa....stop drinking." she heard him say, Elisa stopped drinking and lifted her head...and gasped. Andy was so pale, she had to save him.

    But how??
