Yes, you are” answered Omega.
“ So what do you want to do with me?" Isaac asked.
"Well, you see, we want to put you in our military, mainly so we become unstoppable” answered Omega while he was pacing around the room.
"Wait, so if I join you, who are you going to attack?" questioned Isaac.
"Well, obviously you humans. Mainly because you're weak, and because you guys control over half the world" said Omega.
"So you'll exterminate all the humans to try and take over the world? But, we're pretty much impossible to kill. Probably because we have nuclear bombs. So how can you beat us?" argued Isaac?
"You people think you're all mighty, but you people are pretty easy to conquer. Here are three reasons: One, you guys are easily angered and you guys still don't have world peace, two: You guys use guns, and we use magic. The winner: magic. Mainly because we can create hurricanes and tidal pools, and you guys can only shoot at us with bullets, and reason three, we can keep on resurrecting the dead, which means the we basically can summon a one-hundred million strong army and that army would be invincible because if you kill a solider, we'll just resurrect him over and over again" countered Omega.
"So what happens if I don't join your military army" asked Isaac. "Well, you’ll be executed if you don't" answered Omega.
"I'll give you one day to decide” said Omega.
So I left the room. Peirs and Silverwolf were waiting for me outside of the room.
"So what happened there?" asked Peirs.
"Well, basically, Omega asked me to join the military or else he'll execute me" answered Isaac.
"So what are you going to do?" asked Silverwolf.
"I don't know" said Isaac. "Anyway, I'll meet you guys back here in a few hours" said Isaac.
"Okay" said Peirs and Silverwolf in unison. Isaac left the room and started exploring Necromancer Palace. Isaac went up the first staircase he saw. The staircase was completely made out of gold and the railings were made out of diamonds. Isaac went up it and came to a room filled with weapons. There was a boy that looked like he was fifteen years old looking at the weapons. Isaac watched as the boy went around looking at everything and stopping at a particular weapon.
The weapon was a long sword. On its hilt there was a giant diamond. Also, the serrated blade was also made out of diamonds. The boy looking at the weapon looked around and
noticed Isaac.
"What are you doing here?" questioned the boy. "Well, I was just looking around the place" answered Isaac.
"Really. Anyway, you look like a necromancer, so you should check out the Coliseum. Here, I'll take you there" The boy took Isaac's hand and they disappeared in a black endless void. A few minutes later, they popped up in a giant arena.
It was sunny, and the noise was ear-splitting. Isaac looked around and noticed that the arena was split into multiple stages. And in each of them, there were two fighters attacking each other. In one of them, one of the fighters was dead.
"Oh, there's an open space" said the person that had teleported Isaac here.
"Here's your first taste of battle" said the boy.
"Oh, anyway, here's my name. It's Dakra. It's pronounced Da-kra. Hope you survive!" said Dakra. All of a sudden, I was teleported to the stage. The place I was in was huge. I eyed my opponent. He was rugged, and had a dagger by his side. I thought I could take him on.
There was a humming sound and then a girl appeared. She told me to pick which weapon I wanted out of the rack that had appeared out of mid-air. The rack held an assortment of weapons, ranging from an elaborate dagger to a giant crossbow, with diamonds engraved into it. There was also a medium sized blade that had a giant pearl placed into its hilt.
I choose that. I held it in my hand, and tried a few test swings. It felt heavy, but I could manage.
“I’ll take this one” I said to the girl.
“Okay.” She then picked up the rack and flew off to the stands near the arena.
“Ready amateur? “ my opponent said in a taunting voice.
“Yeah! Are you loser?” I answered.
“Fine. Have it your way” my opponent said. He took out a couple of shuriken and threw it at my way. I had absolutely no practice with a sword, so I was pretty surprised when I batted away the shuriken back to my opponent.
“Pretty good. Good enough to know my name. Jexar” And I guess that went to my head because I decided to charge at Jexar.
Jexar took out a pitch black dagger from his side and tried to stab it through my head. Luckily, I managed to veer off enough for him to miss me.
“That was stupid” commented Jexar. He then jumped into the air and came hurtling down towards me, dagger first. I quickly put up my sword to block it, but the shockwaves that went through my sword were surprisingly strong. I looked around for Jexar, trying to find out where he went, but he was nowhere to be seen. Then I noticed a crack in the ground.
I jumped out of the way and stuck out my blade where I thought he would strike. Just as I thought, he came out of the ground and hit my blade. Jexar shouted a few words, and then retreated to a side of the arena. There was a small river of blood running down his left side of his head.
“Just as I thought. You’re pretty good. But not good enough” said Jexar. Jexar then started to move his hands in weird motions. I started to run towards to him to try and hit him with my blade, but I was too late. Jexar finished doing those weird hand signs and a giant red ball with one side crackling flames, the other side blue lightning. The flames and lightning meet in the center of the ball and formed into an orange star.
“It’s over “Jexar shouted. “ANGELIC STAR!” shouted Jexar. In the middle of the arena, a giant star was forming. Three of its prongs were red, and the other two were blue.
“Explode” whispered Jexar.
Everything after that was in slow motion. The star’s five prongs latched off the star and started to trail me. I managed to destroy four of the prongs, but one of them hit me in the stomach. The pain was immense. There was also a small hole where the tip of the prong had touched me. There was a lot of blood pouring out of it. I tried to stand up, but then the middle of the star in the center exploded. The outer skin of the star shot out and hit me full force. It didn’t hurt that much, but it still hurt. Then, what was left of the star got transformed into a small speck of matter. It then shot out and hit me in the head.
It went through my head and exited and then returned to Jexar’s hand.
“Having fun?” mocked Jexar as blood was pouring out of my head. I then fell to the floor.
“Uhhhhh. What happened?” I said out loud. I slowly blinked my eyes and noticed that I was in a strange place.
“Where am I?” I wondered. I looked around and saw trees of varying colors. I slowly stood up and felt an instant pain in my leg. I looked down and saw that the blade I had used to fight Jexar was stuck partly inside my left leg.
“How’d that happen?” I took a hold of the hilt of the blade and worked up the courage to pull it out. Strangely, it didn’t hurt and there was no blood.
When I looked around, I noticed that there was a small black shield lying near me. Thinking that it would be important, I tried to pick it up, but it felt like it weighed a ton.
“Where am I anyway?” I said in my head. When I looked around, I also noticed that there was a slightly tattered black rucksack near me. I picked it up and placed the black shield inside it. But, when I was getting ready to put it on my back, there was a rustling of leaves near me. Instinctively putting my hand over the hilt of my blade I looked around. There was a pair of red eyes near me. I started to walk towards it when it exploded.
I got blown back and hit a boulder.
“OW!!!!!” I screamed. When I tried to stand up again, a searing pain went through my left leg.
“What the? Did my blade get stuck in my leg again?” I thought. I then noticed that my left leg was broken.
“Wow. That’s just great. What was that thing that exploded?” I said. I crawled towards the bush that had exploded. There was a faint smell of gunpowder, and a silver coin.
”Nothing here except this coin” Isaac said. Isaac looked at the coin and noticed that there was an insignia on both sides of the coin. Isaac pocketed the coin and picked up a stick. “
This should be a good enough crutch” thought Isaac. Isaac slowly stood up leaning on the crane and started walking to a cave a few hundred meters away.
After a few meters, Isaac got hungry.
“This is bad. I don’t have any food!” yelled Isaac. Isaac looked around and noticed that there was something resembling a deer a few meters away. I felt around my rucksack and took out my sword. I slowly crawled near the deer and then I threw the sword at the deer. Unfortunately, the sword fell a few feet away. The deer thing looked around and noticed me. ”
Not good” I said. The deer thing managed to hit me on the side before I moved out of the way.
”Ow, my leg” shuddered Isaac. Isaac took out the shield from his rucksack and threw it at the deer thing. The deer thing turned around and got hit on the head with the shield. The shield fell on to the floor, spinning in a circle until it fell. Isaac gingerly approached the deer thing. Isaac prodded it until he was convinced it was dead.
