• "Though i walk through the shadows of the Valley of death i will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." This quote from Psalm 23:4 is what gave me the idea for this story.

Fifteen year old Luna Shasuri (shay-zur-e) endures being beaten by her parents, ridiculed by students at school, and the death of her brother. Through her eyes, you see the path that she has faced. But, one time when she ran away, she met a boy by the name of Shane Horris, a sixteen year old boy with light brown hair, who gave her a bible. Every night, he sneaks into her room, and teaches her about god and because of this, she found the road to salvation.

Throughout the time she spends with Shane, she ends up starting to like him. But Shane is betrothed to a women named Sheridan, and it is forbidden for them to be together being that the Shasuri and the Horris family's are sworn enemies. So basically its a regular Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde type story.

With its twist and turns, this story will become, hopefully, a great read. But only if you put your imagination in it.
