• Chapter 1: The Search

The little boy looked up at his older sister. "Please?" His tears were about to come in. He already asked about many things, but none like this- his mom was gone, and now he was wondering if he can try to find her. "Please???" He asked again, the tears begining to come in faster. "...Look, Christopher, I care about Mom as much as you do. In fact, I think I care more about her," the girl did a hand gesture, "and I would typically say yes, but...we're grounded; we can't go out of our rooms. Papa said so." The boy named Christopher started breaking down in a fit. "B-But we WILL find her, right?" he sobbed. The girl looked at him in a way like he was a little needy. "Alright, fine. Christopher, get your blanket. I'll tie mine up with yours and we'll climb down the "rope" and find her." the girl said again, feeling sorry for Christopher.

"Thanks, Michelle." Christopher said as he went first on climbing the blanket chain, joyfully. "Your welcome." Michelle said, going next on climbing. Christopher dropped when he felt was safe, a little two feet off the ground, while Michelle dropped off at least eight inches. Michelle gripped her bag tightly, doubting that she shouldn't have gotten out of her room in the first place, she was worried about getting hurt.

Christopher had also brought along a green "Save The Enviroment" bag from Walmart. He filled it with fifty bags of chips, thirty granola bars, and at least fifty peanut-butter-jelly sandwiches. Now, his last sign of a tear was dried on his smiling face.
