• "What is all this?!" Alyssa yelled.
"Alyss, Your Highness! Your presence is most loved by your followers! This is, of course, our annual Tea Party of White Magic!"
The man with silver hair took off his red hat, and bowed so low, his face could of hit the ground. A rabbit hopped in, running very quickly, and slid to a stop.
"Am I lat- Oh! Your Highness! I am so sorry for interrupting!"
And the rabbit bowed down as low as the man with the red hat!
"Carrotop! Mad Hatter! Surely, you know she has been away from White Magic for years!"
    Riika's fuse went off suddenly.
"Everyone knows that she's been with humans! As have I! School! What nonsense! Five days a week with seven in a week! Hmph!"
"Aahhh! We're sorry Riika!" they said in unison.
"I am the Mad Hatter, surely not 'mad'. Just doing things creatively, of course." The Mad Hatter placed his hat back on, and suddenly, the top flew off, and spoke.
"My, this is our queen? She is so tall!"
In truth, Alyssa was small. She was never tall for her age. A little mouse popped out of the hat.
"I'm the Dormouse! You can call me that."
Alyssa nodded, and gestured to the rabbit.
"Meaning, this must mean that this is the certain Carrotop? But my! The tree said looks are deceiving, and surely they must be!"
Carrotop was cute and fuzzy, with little buckteeth and a bowtie. He sniffed the air.
"Ah the Wisdom Tree. Yes, quite right is he! I suppose you have a favor, Your Highness?"
    "Ah y-"
"Of course we do!" Riika cut off Alyssa.
"This tea party is crazy, and not fit for a queen! But of course, Alyssa loves things like this! So acceptable! However, yes, we seek your guidance in White Magic!"
The trio of Dormouse, Mad Hatter, and Carrotop went into a huddle, and they all nodded.
"Alright. What does she need to know?"
Before Riika could say anything, Alyssa put her hand to her mouth.
    "Everything."
The crowds silence was louder than ever. A boy about her age stepped out. "Alyss. The second anyways. Remember me? Teddy Anderson?"
She did. She had vague memories of them playing together. His black hair swept over his eyes, and his black rimmed glasses added a touch of intelligence.
"Of course, Ted! Though I hardly do!"
They giggled, and Ted grew serious.
"I'm a protector of this kingdom, too. And I can help with your magic."
He produced five white balls from his fingers, and twirled his fingers. The white lights moved into a star formation, and he produced even more. The pure look was so innocent, and filled with memories.
"White Magic is made of several things. Memories.."
He gestured to one which stood on his shoulder. Alyssa could see clearly through it. It was the memory of when Teddy and her were playing rescue the princess. How embarrassing!
"Purity of the heart.. and so many things Looking Glass scientists are looking at! Our first lesson is on the looking glass. Mirror please!"
Alyssa took out her mirror, and handed it to Teddy. He held her hand, and her heart beat rapidly. It's Teddy. Nothing wrong here... Alyssa grabbed Riika's hand, in which she grabbed the Dormouse up, followed by the Mad Hatter and Carrotop. Teddy moved his hand towards the mirror, and Alyssa had a sickening feeling in her stomach.
"To the corridors of the Mirror Kingdom!" he yelled.
And they were sucked in, to a hall of mirrors. Alyssa opened her eyes, and they all floated.
"This is the looking glass. The corridors is a long trip, so heres our lesson! Hang on!"
She held on. For dear life. Everything was so complicated! How could a kingdom depend on her alone, and she didn't know what anything was?!
