• I stared at the boy as he lay at the bed, still soundly sleeping. The silver plate on his right arm and the long clothe-like sleeve on his left arm gave him an odd look. I saw a small flutter in his eyes and knew that soon he'll be awakened. I told the assistant to call Mistress Julia, the leader of our village. He slowly opened his eyes, slightly blinded by the beam of sunlight that shone from the window.
My eyes widened as I made I contact with him.A chocolate brown eye on the right. A dragon-like emerald green eye on the left. He looked at me questioningly. I looked at him, frightened. I slowly took a step back as he sat up. Unwrapping the red scarf around his neck.
"Why...Why do you carry that eye?" My voice shook. He looked at me in the corner of his eyes. I took another step back.
He opened his mouth to say something. But instead looked at the approaching figure entering the room. Mistress Julia. Her long blond hair, dark grey eyes that have seen many things. The sign of aging present at her furrowed eyebrows. She held the boy's gaze. Her graceful movement, as she approached closer to him. She signaled us to leave the room. I quickly ran out, clutching the necklace the boy owned.

I searched for Marcus. I was afraid that we had brought a dragon into the village. I entered the place where he often was. The training grounds. Many people were there training. Wanting to become stronger. To defeat the dragons that lurks the outside wall of our village.
"Marcus!" I called out to the tall figure at the other side of the room. I quickly ran to him. "Marcus, I-I...I need to tell you something."
Marcus wiped the perspiration off his face. He gave me a questioning look and asked. "What is it?"
"I can't say it here. Please go outside." I led him away from the curious crowd that gave us a glance. Marcus followed behind. Grabbing his garments on the way out. I made sure no one had followed us and that no one else was around. I took a deep breath. My heart quickly beating. I was still clutching the jade necklace.
"Marcus, I fear that we've brought a dragon into the village." I whispered.
