• At the end of the day Miles and I walked to the detention room.
Was talking in the classroom that bad? Autumn thought, she looked over at Miles, and he smiled nodding.
She smiled back, and kept walking.
They passed other students, some getting drinks from the fountain, others texting away.
"Miles, do you have your phone on you?" I questioned him.
    "Sure, what for?"
"I need to call my dad." Was all I stated.
"Why don't you use your own?"
"I forgot it in my locker."
Miles reached into his back pocket, and pulled out his phone handing it to me.
"Thanks..." I trailed off, looking at the phone.
    "You got a new text."
"Really, who in their right mind would text me?" He reached for his phone, looking and scrolling down the text.
    "It's nothing, just from Blake."
    "What does it say?"
"Nothing, hurry up and call your dad, or we'll be late for detention."
I dialed her dad's number and informed him she would be late. After that I still had Miles's phone, and looked up his texts, but as good as I was, I have given it back to Miles. He would tell me about it sooner or later.
About three minutes later they made it to the detention room, Miles held the door open for me. I stepped in, and felt something wet drop on my head, and looked up and saw...
    "Ah!" I screamed jumping back.
    "What?" He asked.
"Blo-" I looked up and saw it was gone.
Quick make something up. I thought in a hurry.
"Nothing, just a spider." He raised an eyebrow at me,
"Spider doesn't start with 'Blo'. "
"You didn't hear me right, bloody spiders." I said quickly.
    Nice save!
He led me over to the front, and we sat down.
The bloody image of a little boy still in my head.
