• James slowed his breathe to keep accuracy on his side. An enemy soldier had appeared out of the shaded area in the forest. He was armed with an AK-47 and 2 grenades, from what James could see in his scope. The soldier walked lazily across the green-patched forest floor. James thought he was a decent target.

He pulled the bolt back on his M40 and slowly racked it foward, popping in a fresh 7.62mm round into the chamber. James layed still, hoping not to alert the tango a couple hundred feet from him. When the soldier stoped to look upon the beauty of the forest, James took a deep breathe and held it. He slowly pulled the trigger, ensuring that he would have more accuracy. After James had put about 6 pounds of pressure onto the trigger, the rifle sputtered a round at his intended target.

The bullet travelled at lightning speed. After about a second had passed, it hit the soldier in the shoulder. James' target did a spin and fell to the ground. As James looked through his scope, the tango didn't even twitch once.

"Must have gotten him through the spinal cord", he said to himself. James racked another round into the M40's chamber, readying for another shot.
