“Amina?” A boy called out, “Are you going to take long?”. He had a calm appearance that matched his blue eyes.

This boy’s name was Edge, he had lost his parents when he was still young.. He at the moment is residing in the castle as a knight.

Inside a room was Princess Amina, who was fixing her hair while trying to open the door.” I’m ready..” She as well had blue eyes, but the difference was that her eyes let out a sort of humble yet sad hue.

Amina Rivana Virillia, the princess of Asgard. The royal family took in Edge and raised him to be a Knight, the knight that would protect Amina. Ever since both her mother and father died during a war between Asgard and Utgard, she was always been told to stay within the castle at all times..

She came out of the room, Edge gasped and stared. She wore a beautiful dress made of the finest silk, the white dress matched perfectly with her golden curls and fair skin. “Looking magnificent like always your highness..” Edge complimented as he took her hand. Amina smiled gently, “Thank you..Edge”, He tugged lightly on her hand as he led her to the ballroom. “Another festival is at hand, my orders are to lead you to the balcony to let you watch the fireworks with your father, following that is to have a feast at the ballroom where in your father will inform them of the new changes in the law, after I lead you to the castle gates to greet the-“ Edge was cut short as Amina started giggling, He titled his head, “what’s wrong? Did I say something that offended you?”. She shook her head, “ No, it is not like that, its just that you have to watch me all the time, maybe I’m the one offending you..”, He looked at her and smiled “ You have a lot on your plate, its only normal that a knight would watch you from a far, and a reminder to you your highness… Please smile as you greet the crowd.”, She looked away, “Of course I’ll do that, thank you for the reminder..”

    ~balcony~

“The princess is here now your majesty” A soldier informed the Zephoroth, the Ruler of Asgard as well as the father of Amina.

Zephoroth Virillia, a man who kept the kingdom of Asgard from falling when Amina had lost her mother… He is not the true father of Amina so her faith towards him is still growing.

“Ahh, Amina! You look lovely as always, the fireworks are about to start. Come sit next to me and wave to the kind people” , Edge coached her “ remember to smile to the crowd, and enjoy. I will be at the sides if you ever need me..” Amina felt hesitant to let go of Edge’s hand but never the less had let go.

    *FFreeewww* *Poooow!*

The black cloudless sky was splattered with an array of colors, the dazzling lights caught even the darkest of souls looming in the streets… one explosion covering another, T’is like a war to capture the sky.

She took a seat next to her father. “ Isn’t this wonderful?” Amina smiled weakly, “Y-yes it is father..” She sighed, as she raised her hand to her neck she realized that a precious emblem was missing.. “Father..? Could I get something back from my room?” her father looked at her, “What did you forget?”. “It’s nothing of importance, but could I just please get it..?” She pleaded. “Well, alright. I’ll have edge accompany you.”

“What..? No.. I’m okay with going by myself.” She looked away, her father grew in suspicion “I need him to be with you, I cannot trust you Amina.. You have always been trying to escape in events such as this..”. “Fine..” she finally agreed, The king signaled Edge to come closer. He leisurely came nearer to her seat.. “Lets go amina.”.

    ~

Edge tried his best to catch up as amina walked hastily past each corridor, “Don’t tell me your going to try and run away again…”. She shook her head without looking at him from behind, “I’m just going to get my necklace..”. “But your highness” he questioned, “What necklace? Is it that much of an importance to you..?”

They had neared the door to Amina’s room, “Of course it is..” she touched the doorknob, before entering she looked at him and said“ Please wait for me here outside.” Edge nodded.

    ~~

(Where is it..? Where is it?) She searched thoroughly around her room, even bending down to check the floor. (I cannot possible loose it..!)

    *shing*

(huh..?) A small flash of light caught her eye, she glanced at every corner (I think it came from my balcony..) she opened the glass door leading to the balcony.

    *shing*

The light flashed again, the necklace Amina was looking for was tied to the railing. She quickly untied it and raised it high; a beautiful red glow emanated within as the moonlight shone on it. This stone was as red as a ruby, it was also known to grant wishes indirectly for some people, therefore was known as a wish stone.

“ I wish to not be like a caged bird..” she smiled to herself, “ but even as an Angel I myself don’t know how to fly” As she admired the necklace her mother had given her she noticed something below the railings of the balcony, she peered down at the bottom and noticed a long ladder made of rope. Opportunity had struck her again, she was unaware of who placed the ladder there. Either way she was happy to find an exit from the palace again. She without thinking took the chance of leaving the castle.

She wasted no time dawdling and rushed to plan her quick escape…

    ~ 10 minutes later~

Edge sat patiently outside her bedroom, but was starting to worry. (What is taking her highness so long?) He decided to investigate, and if nothing was wrong try to help her find the emblem. He slowly turned the knob, “princess..?”.
There was no sign of her, however as he looked closely at the edge of her bed he saw the dress she had been wearing before entering the room neatly folded. “Oh no..” he sighed lengthily as he saw the balcony doors open, he rushed outside. “ Oh..no no no no..!” He quickly dashed to tell the king,

    ~

    “ WHHHAATT.?!?”

“I’m truly sorry, it was my fault for not watching her carefully..” Edge bowed to the king, “who left the ladder there!? I demand to know!” he paced back and forth as he scratched his head. “No time thinking about that right now, how about the Amina? What if someone tries to kidnap her?” Edge tried to get the king’s attention.“ If I may, I would like to lead the search party to find the missing princess.. She had done this before so I most likely would know where she is headed”. The king nodded. “Very well, make sure you bring her back in peace.” “Yes your highness..”
