• I live in L.A. Sun, Beach, Surf, the whole deal.
I go to an All-Girls school. It's pretty boring.
Oh, and I'm Julia. This is my life story so listen up and don't laugh.
    I am 15 and I live in a mansion/beach house. I'm used to it.

My friend's name is Abella. (Uh-Bell-Uh) And she is not popular, like me. She has straight brown hair, huge glasses and green eyes. She's my best friend.

Me? Well...I've got a secret. You'll learn it later.

_______________________But anyway, enough of me and I'll tell you my story_____

    I woke up.

    Ugh.

    "Ahh. Don't do that, Max! You're a little brother...not a dog." I yelled.

Max laughed. "Rough! R-r-rough!" He answered.

I stood up and pushed Max out of the room so I could get ready. Now wasn't the time for my little brother to see me in my underwear. Or ever. I looked into my closet and pulled out random clothing.

    Then I ran outside.

"Hi. Ready to go to Rina's School?" Abella greeted.

Rina was the "popular girl". She actually did own the school. She was rich and spoiled and plain mean. Her clones were Mary Anne Fisher and Victoria Roveti. Rina's full name was Rina Homebound.

Me? Julia. Julia Rose. And Abella's? Abella Jurcassi.

"Oh look! It's Julia Rosebush and Abella JuryCassy." Rina snickered.

I laughed. "Really, little miss not-so-homebound? Are your clones Victoria Ravioli and Mary Anne Fisherman here?"

Abella fake laughed, just like the clones.

Then our other friend, Jessie Bayz Came up, fake laughing.

Rina crossed her arms. "At least we don't need makeup to look good."

    I gasped. "That's a face? I thought it was a mask."

Rina shrieked and ran away from us, with her clones.

    We high fived.

"Mary Anne Fisherman? Mask? Oh my god, you were on a roll!" Jessie giggled.

Abella smiled. "Going to the dance at the other school tonight?"

    "Yeah." I said.

The rest of the day was like any other.
    _________________________________________________

I walked into the dance. My Brown, Curly hair bouncing on my shoulders. I was wearing a beautiful blue dress and I felt like Cinderella.

Jessie had her red hair in a bun, and she was wearing a short red dress.

    And then Abella walked in.

She had a pink dress, Her hair was curly and in ribbons, and she was wearing contacts.

    She walked over to us.

    Then Rina ran up.

"Oopsie." She said, spilling her punch on me.

I shrieked. This could not happen. I fell to the ground and grabbed my legs.

But it was too late. They weren't legs anymore. It was a tail.

Mary came up behind me with a net. "Guess I caught something!" She yelled.

Everyone was staring because no one knew, not even my friends, that I was a mermaid. I had kept it a secret. Now they thought I was some weirdo-freak. I looked at Jessie. She was hugging me. And Abella was yelling at Rina, Mary and Victoria.

I was crying. "Why???" I asked Jessie as she helped me to the bathroom.

She dried me off with her coat. Then I had my legs back.

"I fell in front of some cool people...": I sobbed.

    Jessie smiled.

"What do you mean? You're the cool girl now!"
