• Chapter 2- Chris
After I regained consciousness from the motorcycle crash, I was somehow left unharmed. When I staggered to my feet I saw a dim yellow light. I walked towards it, thinking it was a gemstone. Then out of nowhere some bird attacked my face. I slammed it against the ground, wanting that gemstone more than ever. As I approached the stone, it seemed to get brighter. I picked it up, and suddenly a flash of light blinded me. I dropped the stone and staggered back tripping, and hitting my head on a tree.

I was suddenly at the time where I was running from the cops, except I was seeing it from outside my body. This must be a dream! I thought. When I reached the part where I crashed into a tree, I expected to wake back up when I hit it, but I didn’t. After a few moments of staring at my still body, I noticed something strange… I was covered in wounds and gashes. But… I suffered no injuries… I thought. Then something even stranger caught my eye. A hawk flew down nearby me. After looking at me for a while, it ran its wing across one of my wounds, which healed immediately. He progressively healed my wounds, and then perched nearby. I looked back at me. I had awakened, and was pushing the motorcycle off myself. I felt everything slipping away… I was wakening from this dream.
