• My name is Hanako Kunai. I am always alone. Death will find me someday. I just don't know what would happen next in the chapter of my life. All I do right now is cry and cry. The end might be near. Death had already taken both my parents under his arms. I was afraid. I couldn't go either way. It was blocked. I couldn't move. The doors of my prison was closing around me. I knew it, Death was coming for me. I closed my eyes to allow Death to embrace me. I couldn't feel the impact at all.

My eyes fluttered open. I looked around myself. I didn't recoginze my surroundings. This was weird. I couldn't even feel my atmosphere get any colder. It was not snowing but I could tell it was below freezing level. I shivered, coughed and sputtered a bit. Allowing myself to breathe. But I couldn't feel my windpipe working exactly. I felt as if I were underwater. But I could see the open sky. The world was closing around me. I fell into the water.

As if a vampire bit me, the blood felt as if it was sucked out of me. I felt lifeless. I don't really know what direction to look. I couldn't wish more than to be saved. Though I didn't know if that was my true final wish. I still couldn't decide. My whole life was spent crying. I couldn't believe it. I wished I could turn the clock back. Or just erase my own memory. But I couldn't it was the end and I couldn't delay it. I closed my eyes to die, but a hand reached for me and pulled me out of the deep seawater. I saw the sun shine brightly upon my face. A boy was sitting next to me. I didn't know him. I sputtered and got up, spitting out some leftover water. I stared at him. He looked startled to see me awake.

I wondered to myself why had he saved me? Who was he? Why me? I shook my head. The boy smiled at me and got up to leave. But I grabbed onto his jeans. He laughed. He reached his hand out to me, like he did to save me from my sinking destiny. I took it gladly, and smiled back, "What's your name?" He asked me. "Hanako" I said. He said, "Hi Hanako, my name is Hikaru." He looked around himself and waved to me as he let go of my hand and ran away, he said, "Bye" I just stood there. I swore to myself that I would meet him again. I learned to live alone in the woods. I hunted and hunted. I would one day meet him again and share what I learned with him. And I would be forever happy with him. At least I hoped.

I am now 16 years old. I will continue to look for him. That boy who saved me. The only piece of information he left me with is that his name was Hikaru. I would forever remain to know the name Hikaru. I looked up at the sun shining brightly. I picked up my bow and arrow and started on my long journey to find him.

I searched distant lands, meeting lots of different people. But none of them seemed to be him. I stared at the sky, "Kami, my only final wish is to find him" I mumbled to myself. "Is that what you truly want Hanako?" A voice behind me said. It was an old man. "Who are you?" I asked. The man laughed. "You'll find out someday." The man disappeared. That was weird I thought. A boy about my age came up to me. He smiled. "Long time no see Hanako." I realized, it was Hikaru. I hugged him. I was crying. Tears poured down my cheeks. Then I fell to the floor, I died with a smile. To this day in heaven. I am happy. I got to meet my savior. I will be waiting for him forever in heaven.
