• Namine. Six Months.

The sound of a gun shot through the night air and the figure in black fell dead to the floor. I looked at Edward as i put my gun back in it's holster.
"See? you have to be more careful. For the time being we're gonna have to be careful in what we do now." I walked over to the door and locked it quickly before going over to the man on the floor and inspecting his wallet.
"You never know when the Organization is gonna send someone after you. Or us."
It has been six months since Brad told me that i had to kill my only brother. And in that six months i have told Edward everything about me and Edward has tried, to tell me everything about himself. Personally, I think his life is really boring. What with school and everything, the only school i went to was a school on how to use guns and weapons properly. And i always aced those lessons.
Alec knocked once on the door and Edward walked up to it and let her in, locking it after she had enterd the room. she tookin the seen and looked at me with a sigh. The Organization had found her some comtacts just like mine before we ran off on them and they looked really good on her, but Edward says that nothing can compare to the original.
"Jesus Namine. You sure do know how to get the job done." she shook her head before sitting down on a large, pink sofa.
"Yeah, yeah. Just help me clean up and move the body." i said to her as i tried to move his feet so that i could get underneath him to clean up the blood. She stood up with another sigh and walked over to me. Bending down she looked at his face. He had a mask on so we didn't really know who he was. She reached over and pulled his mask off. Standing up she started to shake all over. I looked at her, i was starting to get worryed. I didn't know what was wrong. i put both my hands on her shoulders and looked her right in the eyes and said, "Alec? What's wrong?" she shivered as she said, "It's Jakob.
They sent him to kill you both, knowing full well he would end up dead!" she shook and started balling in my arms. Alec and Jakob have a very long past. They used o be lovers but when Alec started hanging with me Jakob ditched he because he didn't like me. But i knew that Alec still loved him, even though he pushed her away even more, she still held on.
I felt terrible everytime i saw her stare at him across the room because deep down i knew that it was me that drove them apart.
I looked down at my belt and saw that i only had two more reloads left. Damn, I was gonna have to steal some tonight. i looked at Alec, she was sitting on the arm of the chair with this sort of glazed look in her eye.
“Hey! I recognize this guy.” Edward interrupted Alec's little spell and she looked at him. “Yeah, this guy's name is Jakob right? He used to live in the same apartments as me.” I don't know what happened then because suddenly Alec had stood up and walked over to the window and looked down at the street below us. I needed to try to get her mind off him.
“ Alec, umm... I'm going to need to break into the Organization tonight to get some more reloads. Do you need any?” I didn't really want to start her off again so I tried to say that with as delicately as I could. She looked at me but didn't really see me when she said, “um.. yeah I think I'm going to come with you tonight.”
I don't know what possessed me to let her come with me but before I knew what was happening I was already silently stalking the security guards that guarded the base at night. Alec was beside me trying to control herself. I could see that it took all her power, not to run off and find Brad to kill him. I was proud of her, if it were me I would probably have ditched any humane feelings in my heads hours ago.
We slipped past the gates and found ourselves standing behind two guards that I recognized as Bill and Harry. It was easy as pie to get past them. I quickly snapped their necks at light speed and was at the entrance in no time. Alec still had a key, witch was good because I threw mine out weeks ago.
At first we didn't think her key would fit but with a click it had turned and the whole place was open to us. We walked through until we found ourselves looking at a shelf with masses upon masses of guns and ammunition. We grabbed our fill and quickly ran out closing the door behind us.
Before we could get through the gates, Alec turned and looked at a window far beyond our reach. It was Brad's office. “Listen, if you want to go I'll understand.” I didn't really want her to go but I couldn't very well say. She looked at me, looked down at her feet and said, “The worlds brighter because of your smiles, warmer because of you laughter, and so much more beautiful because your in it.” she looked right at me, “those were his words to me when we first started going out. But I now know that they don't really mean anything now that the best thing to come into my life is here standing next to me.” she walked over to me and gave me a hug. “I'm so glad I have you for a friend. I don't really care that Brad sent Jakob, because at least I know I'm where I want to be.” “ Haha. That made absolutely no sense whatsoever.” I started laughing and she soon joined in.
“Okay, lets move on from this place. It bores me.” I woke up with a start and the smell of freshly ground coffee beans reached my nose and made my mouth water. On the desk next to my bed there was a steaming cup of coffee in an ugly blue mug but I didn't care what it was in, just that it was coffee. I gulped down and it scorched my tongue.

    Edward.

I heard a huge sigh coming from Namine's room and walked over to the door and saw her lying back in her bed with a coffee sitting nice on her stomach. I could tell that I had gotten the coffee to her at the right moment because there was a smile on her face. A beam of sun streamed through the window above her and highlighted her face. Her hair didn't look black when the sun hit it. It had a sort of bluish tinge that looked very beautiful and unique.
“I'm serious Edward. I need out!” Alec was sitting at the table eating breakfast. Usually her breakfast consisted of nothing but a coffee to, but with all this free time she had she was able to finally eat a proper breakfast. And besides, I didn't let her hear the end of it either.
“Edward, are you listening? Why aren't you listening?” I looked over my shoulder at her, “maybe because I have a crazy woman yelling at me.” She wasn't really yelling but I liked to tease her. “you know, if a boy teases a girl it means he likes her.” the whisper of the truth came from behind me as I turned to find Namine standing behind me with her cup in one hand and the other tangled in her hair, as if she was scratching.
She had gone to bed in one of my black sweat jackets and a pair of tracksuit pants but this morning she woke up wearing a black spaghetti string top, where you were able to see her pink bra straps since one of her straps were falling down her arm. She was also wearing a pair of white shorts that had the words, 'Love is a Game, We just make it Suck, on the elastic.
She looked at me seriously and pinched my cheek, hard. “Aww, your so cute.” she walked past me and sat down at the table with Alec who was looking like one of those blondes on the T.V. I didn't want to admit the truth to her but I sort of did have a thing for her friend. She was just really nice, well when she wanted to be, and she was pretty and smart. Alec doesn't wear the contacts anymore because I told her that her own eye color was very pretty so she stopped buying them.
After a few more hours like this we were soon on the road to our new home with Namine leaning her back against the window in the front seat, Alec lying on the backseat and me driving. I don't think that I could have planned my life out any more perfectly.
We drove until we reached a little town called Beach View. It had a sort of corny name but we all managed to find something we liked about the town. Namine liked how it was cloudy most of the time and Alec likes the stores. But I liked the fact that I didn't have to hide anymore from the Organization because there was no way that they would find me.

    Right?

    The end ?
