• Kira's POV
I didn't like it. How everyone ignored what was going on in the world. How people could be careless about world hunger. How every world problem would just cease to exist. But I cannot think of this anymore, for I was no different from these people. I've always just ignored every problem that came forth. I took the last sip of tea from the small golden teacup. Sighing lightly I hopped off the wooden chair and swirled toward my dresser. Clapping my hand,my servants came to aid me.

"How may we s-serve you, young master?" Lady Nonoha asked.

"Why does your voice shudder among me?" I hissed strictly.

"I must excuse myself, for I am not worthy at this moment, young master" Lady Nonoha said, grabbing her skirt and walking quickly out.

    "Indeed...Tch.." I said, sighing afterwards.

"Now, dress me" I smirked, spreading out my arms so that they could, well as if they would deny anyways.

The maids nodded, taking out a simple nightgown. They went to work. Slipping off the frilly cotton dress, and replacing it with the silk nightgown. After the fixed it all up, the oldest maid tied a bow from the back.

"We will awake you at dawn, Young master" They stated softly and very quietly. I only cared enough to nod and wave my hand to dismiss them.

They bowed, and left the room after one and the other. Each one scattered around the Manner, doing whatever maids do. As so I walked amoung the fancy statues, looking at the magnificent paintings and artwork.

I was quite impressed with what artists from all around gave us- well me. Matosumi Xiola, my mother, and Matosumi Shiki, my father, had died and left me, Matosumi Kira incharge of the Matosumi Manner. I redesigned the house from top to bottom, but still, I do not feel satisfied with the effort. The house still lingers with memories..No matter how happy it was said to be, or how sad, I could never let the memories live inside The Matosumi Manner. Never.

I stepped outside. Putting my hair up in pigtails, I grimaced. I could stil felt the wind rushing through the strands of the black hair I owned.

"Forever I shall live alone with my maids, controlling this Manner. To prepare for nothing ever, but a simple life. I shall die of old age and nothing more. I can see it so." I muttered. Folding my arms, I looked toward the sky.

"Does this world only bore me? Shall no interesting events come?" I inquired myself.

I frowned lightly, looking away from the stars. The wind rattled the bushes, and the musical wind chimes. Taking a step onto a rock near the mini lake the Manner had in the garden I began to look into the water. I saw myself. Messy strands of black, eyes of cloudy innocent petite blue, pale pink lips that curled into a small frown, and the pale marble skin I owned.
"If I could dream another dream, and wake up in another world, dazing around again and again. If I could feel the emotions of the youngling I am, If I was the one I was one." A voice sang. I turned stiff and turned to the rustling bush and then back at the minature lake.

"Is this not your wish?" The voice giggled lightly. From all I could tell that this was a male's voice, but a light and mysterious voice it was.

Spinning around I searched for a figure, for something, for the truth. Thoughts came finally into my mind. Whatever this is, I'll take this chance, if there's even is one.

"Oh don't worry, Lady Matosumi..Oh did I say Lady now? but I know I can serve you, to your interests." The male chuckled.

"Why do you dare say that you are worthy for this Manner?" I inquired in a emotionless, worried-free zone.

"I did not. Master of The Matosumi Manner, I was saying, that you are not worthy for me" The male said. It sounded like he was sprinting lightly around me.

"Tch..But what interest can you bring me?" I asked, quietly.

"I could do many things, some unimaginable, but do you? Do you accept this offer? But Matosumi, the price is-" He whispered to me before I interrupted him.

"I accept." I hissed. It was no doubt that this man would probably have something up his selve.

"Well then, My master..Let us continue with our deal, the price is that you will let me feed on your soul, whenever I hunger it." He chuckled.

"But since you accepted, there's no turning back, and may I ask if you would like to know what exactly I am?" He said.

    "Yes." I replied, quietly.

    "Vatallia"
His very last words at that moment were stunning, but before I could even comprehend his lips pressed against mine, feasting on the lifeless soul I had.
