• This is a story of love and loss. Of one and two but most of all of over coming when you have lost all that wills you to over come. I would like you to join me in a small tale.

I would like you to imagine, a hill looking over a huge ocean. The sun shines down upon the land and across your face. The warmth of its rays washing over you and you lose yourself in its glow. You feel as if the earth has slowed and you are the center of your universe. The soft breeze gently wafts over you and you feel as if all the drama of this world, all the despair and heartache can no longer touch you. The hair on your arm stands up as it passes over you and you feel the oh so human chill that lets you know that you are very much alive.

The sounds of birds chirping in a far off tree, as they leap from branch to branch singing to find their mates. Trees and bushes and even the grass starts to sway as if the motion of the breeze and ocean were all in sync. The clouds rolling over head leave you breathless and your awed by its carefree spirit. "Where are you going clouds?" you wonder.

Why won't you stay and have a chat with me?

Why won't you take me with you?

The sea crashes among the pearly white sand and your feet begin to just sinks right into it leaving your toes with a gentle gritty feeling. For some reason your body wants to cry because you feel so at home and so at peace with the world. You finally know in your heart that you have found where you belong and that you don't have to run anymore.

And then I remember...My heart weeps for my loneliness and I start to cry remembering all that I yearn for. Will I really always be alone?

I remember your love like it was yesterday, for yesterday my hands intertwined with yours and together a puzzle made whole, a picture made complete and a love everlasting. Were you not so long for the world that you would leave me with such a view to look out at with nothing to look back?

My mind once so peaceful begins to stir and your ocean begins to move slower as if matching your heart. You feel cold and alone...

The air grows stale, the sky begins to darken and the breeze begins to quite but just before all grows dark, a hand on your shoulder is placed. The gentle tickle of long flowing locks glides down your neck and whispers of sweet words like golden honey,"Alas, my love... I never really left you."

You quickly glance back as your heart begins to flutter. Eyes of a lovely Juliet stare back at yours, you lose yourself in the stars above and you realize that this truly is paradise. The sun begins to shine once more, the sea begins to flow in motion with the breeze and that breeze begins to rustle the bushes and the trees. The birds begins to cuddle with their mates and all the despair could no longer be found in a world where true happiness means following your heart.

As you place one small kiss upon my lips, I shall return them twice as many so you know to never forget me.
