Gone for Good
You left me to have fun
I let you go just to see you smile,
But you never forgot me.
I would wait by the phone every night
I know you’re sure to call,
You promised me that much.
Sure enough I hear a ring,
And your voice answers mine.
But you don’t sound happy now,
What has happened to your fun?
“We’ll see each other soon” I say
And only silence answers back.
What’s wrong I wonder,
What’s really going on?
Then you tell me the truth,
You’re not coming back
I don’t get to see you another day.

I really can understand you!!!
When I read these stanzas, I nearly cried as hard as you, because I thought about my boyfriend...
He's at the Armed Forces (is that right?) and I cannot see him very often...
But I know, he loves me and I love him, so I can be string enough...
If he really loves you, you could see each other, too...
I hope, you'll get happy again!!!!
