Fear

Deep inside my heart,
Tearing it all apart.
Can’t you hear,
My trembling fear.

It makes me quake,
Was this all fake?
Have I been loving a lie,
One designed to make me cry?

Why can’t you hear,
This heartbreaking fear?
As it screams for you,
What can I now do?

With everything turned to dust,
There is no one can I trust.
But all I have here,
Is this unshakable fear.
