Snowflakes fall from the sky like stars,
draping the hills with honour and snow.
The girl's golden hair is a halo
that lights up the bushes in flames, while the fox
combs the ice for scraps to eat, bare
bones and all. Birds sing in an ambient loop.
Choking the girl's golden hair is a red loop
and she laughs aloud, first catching the stars,
then falling backwards in the snow
to make an angel. The ice is a perfect halo
that catches the eye of the startled fox,
drawing it out onto the winter bare.
The girl is Eve, sultry and bare,
that tricked the benevolent snake coiled around a loop
of green vine watched by the stars.
They scream at the sorceress in the snow,
they know the venom that runs through her halo,
that the fur she drowns her neck in is fox.
A yelp seeps from the fox,
a red cornucopia escapes from its bare
white fur, like a pinata caught in a loop.
Riches spill from it's insides out like stars,
a red moon burning in the snow.
Noone cares for the fox's shattered halo.
In the frost a large halo
of blood had formed. The fox
is picked up by 6 men with bare
hands, fur tied round their waists in a loop.
The girl is a sun, the men are stars
that ruffle her golden hair. The galaxy is the snow.
The animal's blood soaks the snow,
the twinkles in the sky, each with a halo
mourn the the death of this regal fox.
"The King Is Dead" they sing to the bare
hills, over and over, in a loop,
gathering the animals like formations in the stars.
Day breaks in the snow, Eve hears the requiem loop,
takes off her halo, and bows her bare
locks, she knows the stars see her mourn the fox.

Description:
A sestina I wrote for English class, which I really took a liking to. It's alot about the commercialism of Christmas and the corruption of innoncence nowadays, but I suppose you'll have to look for it. The six words are "stars", "snow, "halo", "fox", "bare" and "loop"
