• Church bells ring a sorrowful tune
As loved ones gather around an old black coffin
    Whispers of silent prayers
    Rain drops on the roof
And the sound of women and children crying
    Echo through the church
The casket door lays open for all to see
To see her one last time
The cause of death is unknown
All that was found were two small bite marks
On the side of her neck
No trace of evidence from her murderer
But she is not really dead
    Merely sleeping
    Frozen in deep slumber
Waiting for her prince of darkness
The one who took her life
When his ice cold lips and razor sharp fangs
Pierced her neck to taste the sweet nectar
    That is her blood
Given her the kiss of death
Return to her and awake her from her slumber
    To awaken in his arms
    Breathing in a new life
    To share forever with him
    Waiting for her dark prince
She lies peacefully in her coffin
Her beautiful pale skin shines under the moonlight
    That peaks through stained windows
Her arms softly embrace her chest
    While dreaming only of him
People in morning start to leave and say their last goodbyes
Walking out into the snow covered ground
And let snow fall on their tear soaked cheeks
And melt from the warmth of their skin
    The rain turned to snow
As the nights cold breath met the air
Like how every minute she continues to sleep
The warmth of her skin slowly leaves her body
As a blanket of ice covers her
    There in her little coffin
    She sleeps
    And waits
