• Knowledge is a heavy burden that we all must carry
It destroys our innocence and corrupts our imagination

I used to imagine that clouds were gifts from the heavens to enlightened our days
Now I see them as particles of water reflecting the sun's rays

I used to be able to frolic and play, not knowing about the world's shames
Now whenever I go out I see poverty and pain, illness and disappointments

I used to have an imaginary friend to keep me company
Now when I'm lonely all I hear is utter silence and besides me, no one

Did you have to die, my imaginary friend?
Knowledge killed so many things that I miss
If you think about it obliviousness truly is a bliss
