• A smile and a wink
A sweet little hug and kiss now and then
Just to let each other know
That they love each other so
    The child hugs the mother
    Just to let her know
How thankful she is to have been brought in to this world
The mother hugs back just to show
How happy she is that the child exist
When you see this exchange of love
    You think
There just isn’t a mother out there
    That doesn’t love their child

    And, then there’s you
A mother who makes sure her child knows
    She’s the accident
    That never should have happened
This poor child who has never done anything wrong
Except live and breathe in your world
Yet this child still tries to be accepted
In your world of predigest and hate
    But as this child grows
    She realizes
    “To damn bad”

Even if she is an accident
    That never should have happened
    That’s “To damn bad”
    She’s here now
There’s nothing you can do about it
    She’s here now
    And she’s here to stay
This accident no longer wants to fit into your world
    Of predigest
She no longer cares to be accepted by your hatred

She’s tired of always being treated
Like dirt is worth more than she is
She’s tired of you and all you put her through
She’s tired of only being worthy of being your daughter
When she does something good that brings attention
So when this accident is brought back
    To your attention
When you actually want to acknowledge her again
She has only one thing to say to you and that’s
    “It’s too damn bad.”
