• I wander these bustling streets
searching for a corner of the world
That only has silence and peace
a place where I can lay down and think
of my life, of my dreams, of anything
just so I can forget the pains of reality

    Yet everywhere I turn
    wherever I hide
    the sounds of city life
    tear through my peace
whispering that I will never escape

    an elderly lady walks by
    kids on bikes ride pass
    These signs of humanity
    will always remind me
that I have yet to get away

So now I will continue my never ending search
For a place of my own, to call home...
