If i had wings I'd fly away
to the forest where the trees grow upside down
and the roots touch the sky
and the moon has needles stuck in its eye
I don't where I'm going
but no one ever really does
without stopping to ask
where should i go and what about my mask
lets just run away
what are you waiting for
let's drive straight right into the sun set
you grab the keys and I'll lock the door
no more problems and no more bad thoughts
no more nightmares left to be fought
just a simple way of living
where you could be yourself
instead of bullets guns have water
our gunpowder so sweet, sugar packets
no reason to fight no more
no just what were we even fighting for
monday, tuseday, wednesday, thursday
and friday we work for 8 months
then there's saturday and sunday
the other 4 months that we sleep away
lets just run away
what are you waiting for
let's drive straight right into the sun set
you grab the keys and I'll lock the door
no more problems and no more bad thoughts
no more nightmares left to be fought
just a simple way of living
where you could be yourself
no more taking, just all giving
to the ones that need it most
there's no more lusst or greed
cause there's all the things you'll never need
there's no hunger in the world
cause our stomachs don't need food
no more hatte or viollence
there's always music and there's never silence
lets just run away
what are you waiting for
let's drive straight right into the sun set
you grab the keys and I'll lock the door
no more problems and no more bad thoughts
no more nightmares left to be fought
just a simple way of living
where we all really do care
about you
