• You've done something wrong,
    You are to blame
    Listening to a sad song
and try to forget your name.

    You screamed inside
    but you remained silent
    Your face looked calm
    While your heart was violent

    You tried to be calm
    Told yourself every lie
Told yourself it was not the time
for you to start to cry

    But soon you're alone
    body limp like the willow
you turn your face and you moan
as a tear seeps into the pillow

    You say you won't cry
    Wiping the tear that escaped
    looking about as you try
over your shoulders, your sorrow draped

    To no avail you resist
your body twitches while you weep
Your eyes look through their salty mist
Knowing that the night won't bring sleep

As you lay, your life unfurled
on the pillow, as you cry
You know that you hate the world
But you do not want to die.

    You then feel ashamed
    You scold yourself
your feuding heart has been tamed
You set the emotions on a shelf

    But like a lost child
    walking in the rain
your heart will return, run wild
to wetten your pillow once again
