wrists crying red tears
its been so many years
since i've seen you smile

you gave to me a crimson rose
through choked screams
through everything
on that cold winters day

i'm sorry i made you sad
that i became so mad
i'm sorry for everything
i feel so bad

the life you wanted
wasn't what i could give
i couldn't tell you
i was to scared to lose you

we walked away from each other
on that cold winters day
and now we are miles apart
and wishing we had stayed
