Our hardware was battered
The wires disconnected,
The cables and cords
were snapped and dissected
The CD’s were full
The routers stopped sending
The keyboard was shattered
The Blu-ray was ending
The microphone was lost
The speakers were muted
The trackball was missing
The printer rerouted
And I still came back
On the those natural days
When we still could speak
Sans mechanical ways
When hearts were still young
And un-monochromatic
When expressions of love
Were not systematic
Now I’m blocked from the list
I’m barred from the view
I’m erased from the page
Of what’s happened to you
Now our software is damaged
The files are corrupted
The RAM is used up
The servers erupted
The URL crashed
The link disengaged
The home site was altered
The mods are enraged
There was not a promise
That we pledged to keep
But maybe you’d know
If computers could weep

er, sorry for all the technology lingo.
However, this tends to describe how I occasionally feel about modern relationships. - Date: 04/08/2009

Very clever. ^.^ The rhyming was what seemed to complete it!
