She gave away her life
To save mine
It was too late for her to take a glimpse
Of her latest design
Laying there in the hospital bed
One would shiver of the silent cold
The doctors knew she was dead
Her appearance seemed so old
But she knew I was the one
Even though she had no flow of thought
The river inside her heart
Still continued, but her, unfortunately, not
She knew that I was a piece of her
She would never refer
Me as nothing
And I will continue to lover her more
Even though
She passed away on the floor
On the after the day of my birth
One would think
Why would she do such a thing?
She begged to differ; I needed freedom
And so she gave me her wing
That led me to existence
She gave no resistance
She is my mother
Oh, how I truly miss her…
Oh, how I truly love her
