In this world of hatred and darkness
You are the light that guides me
Keeping me from eternal pain
Saving my mind from corruption
In this world of death and despair
You are what keeps me alive
Causing my heart to beat painlessly
Keeping my soul from fading into darkness
In this world of loneliness and sorrow
You are my happiness and joy
Letting my know I’m not alone
Allowing me to keep my sanity
But in this world that causes suffering
I lose these feelings in the end
For when they all start to come together
It takes you away from me
