Prayers Answered

• Description: Before I found my way and became Christian, I was losing my way in life and feeling depressed. Once I started learning about the religion, I found that I needed God in my life, and I feel much happier. This is a poem of my journey, I think. Non-revised, so please give me constructive criticism. Oh, and please don't dis me because of my beliefs. If you don't agree, that's fine, but I'd rather not argue about it, please.

My life was in ruins,
Loveless, Unlovable.
Lost my way,
Or had I never been on
The right path?

Walking down the road,
Thorns tearing at my clothes,
Crawling and fighting my way through,
Where is the meaning?
Where am I going?
Is this even worth it?

It is each man for himself
In this cruel world
No one to stand by your side,
Helping you along the way
All love fades,
All friends go.

And so, I fall to my knees,
Please help me find my way,
Guide me in the right direction,
Solve my problems,
O’ Savior,
Help me bear this burden.

Then You walked into my life,
My desperate prayers answered,
My Savior, my King,
Each moment more I spend with You,
The more I love You…
My life will forever be Yours.

it really sounds like u had gone through a rough patch in ur life & i kno wat that feels like even if i dont agree w/ christin beliefes i feel that it might b the best thing that happened 2 u. i recently went through a rough patch & i turned 2 the religion i wuz in b4 hand that i lost faith in & gave up on.
