Red is the color of love -
burning, intense
fire in our eyes.
Shades of darkness,
Shades of light.
Red love
sends a burning sensation
down my spine
when he looks at me.
Red is what I feel.
Red is the color of love.
That love burns like fire -
it burns with intensity;
strong and powerful.
But red, the color of fire,
the taste of anger,
rears its ugly head,
turns deadly -
turns us against each other.
But red, the color of love,
emerges through the anger,
the frustration...
Red love shoots through me like a bullet -
a fierce, wild bullet
once again.
Passion is alive in me,
Alive in his eyes,
Alive in red.
Red is the color of love.

Description:
I originally wrote this poem for school. I wanted to submit it so I could share it and see what people think of it. The focus of this poem was on a color - and obviously I chose the color red. Enjoy, comment, and rate :]

It's really good, but most good color poems are good because it's not a color you would normally put with the description. Like green or purple. "Red is love" is obvious.
Good work, though. 5/5 - Report As Spam
