Whatever happened?
He's out
Downing drink by drink
She's at home
Awaiting his violent eruption
It gets loud
Quiet
Then there's noise
Quiet
He runs
But doesn't get far
She's on the floor downstairs
Unmoving and lifeless
And forever their child grows
Alone
Depressed
But still alive
