• Closing my book
Re read the lines over and over
Just to avoid the simple thought
    Of running out of time
Scared of missing the fish on the hook
Wondering what will be left to lose?

    Cursing the ending
    Curious for my beginning
A brand new chapter one is introducing
My main characters and my plot
Taking step that’ll leave a mark
Makes me wonder how much far is there to go?

Between the lines are traps just waiting
My mind thinks if I’ll over come
    A dreadful amount of loss
    What about the gaining?
    Writing while doubting…

    Time has run out
Yet it is not time to bring an end
So here I’ll start from scratch
For a new purpose most likely waits
    More to the story
    To understand an old discovery

Life is not a page, nor just a book
    Yet a library of adventure
    Of drama, romance, and action
Sometimes more than just a giggle or two from laughter
But yet the plot is so for a reason
    Unfortunately not everyone can answer
    Yet in the end
Strange as it is, or not
There seems to always be a happily ever after…
