• Our reflection slowly turns to a shadow
Our life is fading, our breath is shallow
We're desperate to find what was never there
Hoping to take one last breath of air
On the earth we were born, but this is not our home
Our life flutters by like the leaves as the wind blows
Tomorrow might be our last day
Tomorrow is still so far away

Without a reason we walk alone
We are lost but the masses follow
Our footprints appear in what we were made
To the soil we'll return on our final day
And in the blink of an eye
    We all will die

For only seconds we are alive
As we begin the end will arrive
Will we be remembered by those who follow?
Or in the grave will we be swallowed?
Our reflection slowly turns to a shadow
Our life is fading, our breath is shallow
We're desperate to find what was never there
Hoping to take one last breath of air
On the earth we were born but this is not our home
Our life flutters by like the leaves as the wind blows
Tomorrow might be our last day
Tomorrow is still so far away

Without a reason we walk alone
We are lost but the masses follow
Our footprints appear in what we were made
To the soil we'll return on our final day
And in the blink of an eye
    We all will die
