• An angel protects me,
though I far from deserve it.
    My soul's lost its key,
    It makes me so desperate.

I long for the pureness of the wings of the angel,
and freedom from the web of lives I've entangled.

The darkness inside hides deep with,
when the angel goes by with her smile so thin.

I long for her laughter that rang like a bell,
yet the laughter is lost, like the light in a well.

The void encroaches sealing my fate,
but for that laugh I ever will wait.
