As a sudden as a lightning strike,
Darkness consumed his carefree life.
Mysterious loss of happiness,
The death of his true bliss.
His aura of purity and devotion
Now tainted and obscurely dim
His heart once filled with sweet poetry
Now spoiled with bitter rhymes
Her heart disfigured like abstract art
Still yearning to remember:
Mindless euphoria and dynamic passion.
His chaotic soul has left her cold.
Longing to make things right once more
Jaded promises, piercing shards of misguided ill intent.
Dreams of revival of his once romantic heart.
Trapped in harsh reality, searching for a way out.
