The house watched,
The lamp watched,
And so did the clock on the mantle.
Everything in the house saw it, even the candles.
They saw the look in his eyes when he finally cracked.
He lost his temper and that was that.
They watched him chase her and hunt her down,
And in the end she was never found.
They all watch her heinously,
And now they are all scarred for eternity.
They all hold her soul within their keep.
Forever bonded to these earthly things,
Eternally she shall weep.
- Title: They Watched
- Artist: anutaka
- Description: In this poem I'm describing a husband murdering his wife because he found out she was cheating on him through the personification of the house and furniture in the house. I also talk about how the wife's soul is bonded to these objects and can't pass on because of her being murdered. Well that's the basic notion anyway.

- You did a nice try for such a scary subject. She just shouldn't have cheated.
