Peter Pan

• Description: I know this is probably not going to win, but I wanted to post it anyway. I was on my lunch break at work the other day, and I looked at a picture on my phone that made me start thinking sad things about my little brother, and those thoughts kinda turned into a poem. The poem made me feel better, and it's actually not as depressing as this description would lead you to think. Comments are welcome, but please, no flaming.

I will never take another picture of him
Never see him do something new and ridiculous to crack me up
Never meet his girlfriend or attend his graduation
So many nevers
They seem to compound into eternity
But the one never that brightens and defeats them all:
He will never grow old
Never grow up
He will always stay young
My brother has become Peter Pan
