Here he sits,
Still as stone,
Always watching,
Always alone,

He sees the world,
Through unmoving eyes,
He sees mountains fall,
He sees oceans rise,
He sees it all,
Through clouded eyes,

Here he sits,
Through wind and rain,
As he watches,
All the pain.

Here he watches,
The folly of man,
As they slaughter,
Again and again,
A silent witness,
To the pain

Here he sits,
Still as stone,
Always watching,
Always alone,

He sits and judges,
All that comes to pass,
He sees us kill,
With blade, bullet, and gas,

Here he sits,
Still as stone,
As a tear falls,
All alone...
