I'm sorry mom that I let you down
Sorry I snuck out to the pool
Sorry for the cookies I stole everyday after school
I am sorry for the big things
I am sorry for the small
I apologize as I am on my way to hell
Auschwitz stands before me
It bears its evil grin
Its arms wrapping around me
It keeps insisting I come in
I'm sorry I didnt protect you
I'm sorry you are scared
But mostly I am sorry
for for the horror I can see
I'm sorry its not a dream
I pray to god for you
while questioning if he is real
I'm sorry I never took your word but life is worth all
I am so sorry I had to let you fall
They took your body away
I had to throw you down myself
What an awful way
Maybe I will see you again mom someday rather soon
I sure hope so, I am heading to my doom
